17th of January 2024. 3.5kgs better off with the winner so should go well
2. ANGE DE LA MOISSON – Last start winner over 1600m at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in a Class 2 divided
handicap on the 17th of January 2024. Should go close
3. SHAHBANDAR – Last start in France yielded in a 10th place effort over 1500m at Deauville in a
divided handicap on the 17th of August 2023. Others make more appeal
4. GALISHKO – Ran no type of race when finishing in 15th spot over 1600m in a Class 2 divided
handicap on the 17th of January 2024. Others make more appeal
5. SIDEDREAM – Last start winner over 1300m at Deauville in a Class 3 handicap on the 21st of
January 2024. Trip is a slight concern
6. MAMAMOUCHI – Failed to feature when dropped in trip by finishing 12th over 1300m at CagnesSur-Mer in a Class 3 handicap on the 21st of January 2024. Faces an uphill task
7. VILLAGE ANGLAIS – Ran with a lot of credit when back in 6th spot over 1600m at Cagnes-SurMer in a Class 2 divided handicap on the 17th of January 2024. Will run well here
8. FRENCH DEFENSE – Rewarded for consistency when winning over track/trip in a maiden on
the 23rd of January 2024. Could have more to offer
9. HOXTON – Average performance when finishing 8th over 1600m at Chantilly in a divided
handicap on the 21st of November 2023. Would be a shock winner
10. NO LIMIT DREAM – Ran a good race back in 4th spot over 1600m at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in a
Class 2 divided handicap on the 17th of January 2024. Meets the winner on better weight terms
11. BLUFF – Inconsistent type who finished last of sixteen runners over 1900m at Deauville in a
Class 2 divided handicap on the 12th of January 2024. Opposable
12. EL MEASTRO – Finished 7th over 1600m at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in a Class 2 divided handicap on
the 17th of January 2024. Upset potential
13. MICHELANGELO – Erratic individual that is very capable and he showed that last time out
when winning over 1300m at Deauville in a claimer on the 29th of December 2023. Include in all
bets
14. WRONG COLOUR – Showed some improvement to finish 4th over 1300m in a Class 3 handicap
on the 21st of January 2024. Outside place chance at best
15. MR CASSIOPE – Finished a fairly close up 5th over 1600m at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in a Class 3
divided handicap on the 29th of February 2024. Should get involved 16. AMERICAN HOPE – Unreliable type who failed to fire last time out when back in 16th spot over
1600m in a Class 2 divided handicap on the 17th of January 2024. Hard to recommend
Summary: MR CASSIOPE (15) slots in with a nice galloping weight and wasn’t far off them last
time out so could represent as some value in this competitive handicap. VILLAGE ANGLAIS (7)
ran a pleasing race over 1600m and could deliver another promising performance from a good
draw. FRENCH DEFENSE (8) may have only won a maiden last time out but seems like the type
that could kick on with his career now. ANGE DE LA MOISSON (2) beat a few reopposing types
and could confirm that form. Plenty more in with a chance.

1. VODNIKOV – Produced a solid display to finish 3rd over 1600m at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in a claimer
on the 30th of January 2024. Should go close
2. LIBRE SAONOIS – Finished 5th over 1800m at Lyon La Soie in maiden company on the 11th of
January 2024. Outside place chance
3. KARKAN – Dam was unraced and this individual doesn’t seem as one that could be ready to
make his presence felt on debut. Follow the market
4. INKARA – Fair run on local debut when back in 5th position over 1300m at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in
a maiden on the 21st of January 2024. Can be competitive at this level
5. WIKENDA – Finished 6th over track/trip in a limited handicap on the 23rd of January 2024. Will
appreciate the drop in class
6. RAFALE DU COEUR – Comfortably held in 4th spot over 1800m at Lyon La Soie in a maiden
on the 6th of October 2023. Could need one run to tighten up
7. WAITING CALL – Well beaten in 7th spot over 1500m in a claimer at Marseille Pont De Vivaux
on the 9th of December 2023. More needed to pose a threat
8. DO IT FOR ME – Very erratic performer who finished 10th over track/trip on the 23rd of January
2024. Down in class and can pop up
9. HOUBI – Arrives in moderate form following a 9th placed finish over track/trip in a limited
handicap on the 23rd of January 2024. Easy to look elsewhere
10. RUE MIA – Poor display over track/trip last time out when finishing 13th in a limited handicap
on the 23rd of January 2024. Others make more appeal
11. DRAMATIC ENTRANCE – Finished a dismal 12th on local debut over 1500m at Deauville in a
maiden event on the 26th of January 2024. Would be a shock winner
Summary: VODNIKOV (1) found a couple to good last time out but can get it right here in what
looks to be a very winnable contest. WIKENDA (5) will be more at home given the conditions of the
race and she can run very well. DO IT FOR ME (8) is unreliable but is very capable and looks to
be on the right mark. INKARA (4) could well be taken more seriously if the form line of her most
recent run works out in an earlier race.

R3 – PRIX DE LA MONTAGNE SAINTE VICTOIRE – 1500m (a7f 1/2) – TURF – Class 3 Divided Handicap – Flat – EUR € 20,000
1. I’M ON MY WAY – Hard to assess, a tad erratic, won penultimate but finished downfield in 11th
over 2000m on the 27th of January. Needs to build on that to have a chance
2. EKTORIA – Won penultimate, caught the eye on the 17th of January at this track over 1600m in
a Handicap finishing a courageous fourth. One for the shortlist. Big runner
3. SEGERA – Scope to progress on recent fifth over 1600m at Pau in a Handicap on the 12th of
January. Good chance
4. VOLCAN – Others preferred, a likely long shot and cannot be selected based on seventh placing
on the 30th of November. Has been rested since. Happy to dismiss
5. WAZIERS – Long time maiden, finished eighth over 1300m in Handicap class at this track on the
21st of January but placed fourth before that. More needed for the win. Place claims
6. COLBY CHOP – Will need to build on recent seventh over 1800m at Lyon La Soie in Handicap
class on the 11th of January. Outside place chance at very best but others preferred
7. DOUBLE EFFECT – Finished second over 1600m in a Handicap at Cagnes-Sur-Mer on the 17th
of January and boasts consistent recent form. Confident first selection
8. BALLERINA – Never shone at all in last run on the 29th of January when only managing
thirteenth over 1600m at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in Handicap class. Prefer others
9. SANKA CHOP – Is off form currently and disappointed on the 17th of January when downfield
in thirteenth over 1600m at Cagnes-Sur-Mer. Would be a surprise winner
10. WHAT ELSE CHOP – Encouraging effort on the 1st of February over 1500m at this course in
a weak Claiming race finishing fourth. Include in the quartet
11. ARCUBIATU – Long time maiden, placed fourth over 1500m at this track on the 23rd of January
and must be given serious consideration. Chance
12. FLORIDA SPRING – Pops up every now and then and runs well but needs improvement on
latest effort when seventh over 2000m on the 4th of February. Ignore for now
13. BLACK TOBAGO – Lightly raced, seems to be battling to improve and cannot be fancied on
recent ninth place over 2150mm at this track in a Handicap on the 29th of January. Ignore
14. OCTOBER CHOPE – Current form is on the decline, finished only eighth on the 29th of January
over 2150m at this course in a Handicap. Much more needed and far prefer others
15. LONG STORY SHORT – Would be a shock result if winning as finished fourteenth on the 20th
of January over 1500m at this track in a Handicap. Others should be much the stronger. Pass by
16. EL PROFESSOR CHOP – Bright chance based on good last run on the 20th of January when
third over 1500m at this venue. Include in everything. Strong claims
Summary: DOUBLE EFFECT (7) is still a maiden but judging by her encouraging overall form, she
should win soon, if not today. She has been going over middle distances in competitive Handicaps
and running huge races. She is the one they all have to fear the most. EKTORIA (2) is shaping up
considerably well after a bit of a shaky start to her career. She has improved with racing experience,
was a winner at her penultimate start and has strong each way claims. SEGERA (3) can do better
and can finish in the money. ARCUBIATU (11) is testing our patience with regards to the first win
but can never be dismissed from any permutations.

R4 – PRIX DE PARISLONGCHAMP – 2150m (a1m 1/4) – TURF – Handicap – Flat – EUR € 24,000
1. BELLE DE SABA – Ignore last run when sixth, judge on penultimate win over 2000m in a
competitive Handicap at Saint-Cloud. An outsider with a say. Chance
2. PESTACLE – Won penultimate start over 2000m in a Claiming race at Toulouse but followed
that up with a bad run in fourteenth at Deauville. Needs improvement
3. BAD BOY – Nearly won last time when achieving a second place over 2000m at this track on
the 30th of January. Was a winner three starts back and has strong claims. Include
4. GOWAY – Ran a huge race finishing third in a Handicap late last month over 2000m at this
course. Can go close to winning. Good chance
5. TREIZE – Coming along with racing, placed fourth at this track over 2150m last time and is a
must for all bets. Quartet chance
6. DECIDEMENT – Impressive winner last time over 2150m at this venue albeit in a Claiming race
and would be no shock if following up. Bright chance
7. CHINCHA ALTA – Finished fourth at Cagnes-Sur-Mer over 2150m on the 20th of January and
boasts solid overall form. Bright win chance
8. LUCKY BERE – Caught the eye when third over 2000m in a Handicap in late November at SaintCloud but never shone in race after that finishing seventh. Needs to improve on that effort but might
be able to
9. SOLEIL LEVANT – Lightly raced, finished fifth over 2150m at this track last time and more than
likely has more to offer. Good chance
10. PROBABLY ME – Has shown very little in three starts thus far. Last run finished ninth over
1900m at Deauville in a weak race and therefore would be a surprise winner. Pass by
11. RATEL KABOWD – Finished second over 2150m last time at this track in a Claiming race and
can feature again. Strong place chance
Summary: CHINCHA ALTA (7) has placed six times from eight attempts but is yet to secure her
maiden victory. She has competed amicably in a Handicap before and could be a hard horse to
oppose in this. GOWAY (4) boasts some very consistent form and has been right there most of the
time. He has very strong each way claims. BAD BOY (3) was victorious three starts back, has solid
form and must be included in all bets. A huge run can be expected. SOLEIL LEVANT (9) is lightly
raced and more than likely will have plenty more to offer. Place claims.
