R1 – PRIX DE FUVEAU – 1500m (a7f 1/2) – TURF – Maiden – Flat – EUR € 23,000

1. SERQUIGNY – Narrowly beaten when 2nd at Cagnes-Sur-Mer over 1500m on January 17th
when last seen. Sets the standard
2. MY OWN WAY – Was 3L back in 3rd in the same race as SERQUIGNY (1) a couple of weeks
ago over 1500m and looks like the main threat today
3. MIRADERO – 4th behind two of today’s rivals a couple of weeks ago over 1500m at CagnesSur-Mer. Can have a say
4. MAITRE DU JEU – 4th 11 days ago over 1500m at this track on the sole run to date. Can improve
but others are preferred
5. CAMBACERES – 5th last time over 1500m was at Deauville on December 5th when last racing.
Hard to rule out of the frame
6. NADO TREZY – 5th on the last run over 1500m on the PSF on January 4th in a maiden.
Opposable
7. FAST TRACKER – Unplaced on the only start so far over 1500m on the track on the 21st of
January. Needs to improve quickly to trouble some of these

Summary: SERQUIGNY (1) is improving with race experience and was only just pipped when
second over 1500m a couple of weeks ago in a maiden. He can get the job done under the excellent
Christophe Soumillon. The biggest rivals look likely to be MY OWN WAY (2) and MIRADERO (3)
who were third and fourth respectively in the race SERQUIGNY (1) was second in a couple of
weeks ago at this track. CAMBACERES (5) makes up the shortlist.

SELECTIONS
SERQUIGNY (1) – MY OWN WAY (2) – MIRADERO (3) – CAMBACERES (5)

R2 – PRIX DE MENTON – 2000m (a1m 1/4) – ALL WEATHER – Maiden – Flat – EUR € 23,000

1. INDIAN ALLIANCE – Unplaced on the sole run over 1400m on November 29th at Dundalk (IRL).
French debut and is best watched
2. KING ZARAK – 5th last time of 12 runners at Lyon La Soie in early January in a maiden race.
Might find this difficult
3. EDOARDO – Nice debut 2nd at Pau in mid-December on the sole run so far over 2000m. Can
progress for that outing and make an impact
4. HAGLER – Improved run when 2nd over 1800m on January 11th in a maiden last time. Form
pick
5. FASHION GREY – Faired well when 2nd at this track over 2000m on January 20th in a handicap.
Ought to be thereabouts
6. MQSE DE POMPADOUR – 4th over 1600m at this track 9 days ago in a maiden on her second
start. Needs a few of these to falter
7. NATURAL GIFT – Newcomer by Frankel, from a top stable and owner. A bold show can be
expected on her debut

Summary: HAGLER (4) was only just denied when second at Lyon La Soie in early January when
last seen over 1800m. He will improve again for that and looks like the best option. EDOARDO (3)
can be a lot fitter and wiser for a pleasing debut at Pau when second in mid-December on the only
run so far. He can make life difficult for the selection. NATURAL GIFT (7) and FASHION GREY (5)
are others to pay attention too.

SELECTIONS
HAGLER (4) – EDOARDO (3) – NATURAL GIFT (7) – FASHION GREY (5)

R3 – PRIX DE PUYRICARD – 1500m (a7f 1/2) – TURF – Maiden – Flat – EUR € 23,000

1. ROXANA OF CECCA – 15th of 16 runners on the sole run to date over 1500m 11 days ago at
this venue. Hard to fancy
2. SILAHAI GIRL – Two unplaced runs so far the latter over 1500m on January 17th at this track.
Makes limited appeal
3. HERA – Good 3rd over 1500m at this track on January 21st on her debut. Will be wiser for that
run and can score
4. BAILEYS JAZZ – 5th on the only run over 1500m in early November at Saint-Cloud. Outside
place chance
5. FEVER – 6th over 1500m at Cagnes-Sur-Mer on the sole run so far in mid-January. Needs a few
to falter
6. ROMANCE MARINE – 5th last time over this track in mid-January over 1500m in a maiden race.
Unlikely to trouble the principles but can have a say
7. AMORCITA – 3rd over 1500m at this track on January 17th on the latest run in a maiden. One
to consider
8. MAY – 2nd over 1500m on January 17th at this track on her French debut. Placed form in 2023
in the UK. Live chance

Summary: HERA (3) caught the eye when making her debut at this track 11 days ago when
finishing a promising third. She can step forward for that experience and looks like the one to beat.
MAY (8) showed ability in the UK when placed last year and was second on her first run on French
soil in mid-January over 1500m. She can pose the most problems for the selection. AMORCITA
(7) looks the best each-way option. ROMANCE MARINE (6) makes up the shortlist.

SELECTIONS
HERA (3) – MAY (8) – AMORCITA (7) – ROMANCE MARINE (6)

before that on November 2nd over 2100m. Outside place chance

race on December 9th. Others more likely
4. SIGRUNE – Nice 2nd over 2150m when last seen on December 11th at Lyon La Soie in a
handicap. In the mix
5. KING OF MEADOWS – Two unplaced runs of late, won before that on the PSF on December
9th over 2000m in a claiming race. Might find a few of these too smart
6. DREAM WUKAIR – 5th behind TOP OF MIND (1) at this track on January 18th when last racing
over 2500m. Can make thing interesting
7. BREIZH WOOD – Unplaced last time, 2nd before that on November 24th in a handicap over
2400m. Each-way angle

Summary: TOP OF MIND (1) seemed to like this track when scoring by 2.5L when last seen on
January 18th. She can follow up despite having top-weight. DREAM WUKAIR (6) was fifth in the
same race as the selection last time and should make things interesting on better weight terms.
SIGRUNE (4) is also one to consider after a good second last time and should be involved again
as should BREIZH WOOD (7) who should be involved in the shake-up.

SELECTIONS
TOP OF MIND (1) – DREAM WUKAIR (6) – SIGRUNE (4) – BREIZH WOOD (7)

R5 – PRIX DES CAMPANULES – 1500m (a7f 1/2) – TURF – Class 4 Claiming Handicap – Flat – EUR € 13,000

January. Others are preferred

on 22 October. More needed to win this race

Has leading claims on that performance

Summary: TRUE ROMANCE (2) has been good in Claimers of late on the PSF. If carrying that
level of form back ion the grass he will be the one to beat. HY DREAM (8) showed improvement
when fourth in a Handicap last time out and can go close in this division. BOOMERANG (1) and
RED TORCH (3) are probably both better on the PSF but deserve respect in this line-up.

can bounce back to score. MIDDLE KICK (3) deserves a win and is knocking at the door. He will
be right there at the finish once again. POMELEO (4) is probably better this distance so can improve
on the recent fifth. ZARINA (2) is improving and can also get involved with the finish.

in this division and will prefer this distance to his last race 1600m. MUELHEIMER PERLE (3) did
not run badly in his most recent race and could go even closer this time.
