R1 – PRIX LOUIS GAUTIER VIGNAL – 1500m (a7 1/2f) – TURF – Condition Race – Flat – EUR € 26.000
1. PASSEPARTOUT – Won over 1500m at Tarbes in late September when last seen in a maiden.
Has had a nice break and looks sure to be involved
2. ARIGATO – 5th last time, 4th before that over 1650m in a Listed race in early September at
Craon. Credible form and warrants respect
3. TASHANKA – Won on the PSF last time over 2000m in early December in a maiden and placed
on the other two starts so far. Others more likely
4. MARIE MANCINI – Two wins from only two runs so far. Not seen since April when scoring over
1000m in a Class 2 race at Lyon Parilly. Consider
5. FUN WITH FLAGS – Won the sole run to date over 1700m in late October in a maiden race. Can
improve from that and be on the premises
6. SHARQANA – Won at Deauville in a claimer over 1900m 17 days ago on the sole start. Will
improve from that outing although others preferred
7. ROSE ACADEMY – Has plenty of race experience with a win and placed form in Class 2
company over 1400m in October. Hard to ignore
8. PURPLE STAR – 4th last time in a Class 2 race and a win over 1500m at Tarbes in mid-October
before that. Needs a few to falter
9. BABETTE – Unplaced in a Group 2 last time, two good runs before with a win on debut and a
2nd in a Class 2 race in September. Among the leading chances
10. NOVA KEN – Three nice efforts so far with a recent success on the PSF in mid-December over
1500m in a maiden. On the improve and is one to watch closely
Summary : A very competitive Class 2 race with lots with chances of winning. FUN WITH FLAGS
(5) looked like a filly with plenty of promise when she scored on her debut and gets the marginal
vote ahead of PASSEPARTOUT (1) who has been given some time after a win at Tarbes in
September. BABETTE (9) will find this less demanding than a Group 2 she ran in last time and can
be on the premises. NOVA KEN (10) is getting better with experience and is one to consider each
way.

over 1600m in the past so no worries with the drop back in trip
2. LE NOMADE – Two nice runs of late at Chantilly with a win and a recent 3rd in a Class 2 race
over 1500m in late December. Form pick
3. MAX VERST – 5th last time over 1600m in a Class 3 race at Chantilly 16 days ago. Hardly an
inspired run
4. KHAMMA – 4th in the same race LE NOMADE (2) was third in at Chantilly late last month and
has not got much ground to find
5. DREAM FOR ALL – Has won two of his last three runs, the latest at Chantilly in a Class 3 race
over 1600m 16 days ago. Hard to dismiss
6. DANTES – Fair 4th in a claimer over 1900m at Chantilly last time and is seeking win number
seven
7. SINNDARILLO – Two unplaced runs, won the two races before that over 1600m with the latter
at Compiegne in May. Has work to do
8. FORCHESTER – Unplaced last time but a win before that over 1400m in a Class 3 handicap in
late November. Consider
9. ACCLAM – Has been in top form with wins at Lyon La Soie on the last two outings, the latter
over 1800m in December. Player
10. BASTIANO – Won two runs ago over 1600m in a Class 4 race at Toulouse in early November.
Makes limited appeal
11. IVORY SPRING – Won over 1500m in late November when last appearing in a Class 3
handicap. Place chance
12. GOLDINO BELLO – 4th at Chantilly 16 days ago in a Class 3 race over 1600m. Poor form
before that effort and can be passed over
13. INDYCO – 2nd last time over 1500m in a Class 4 race 11 days ago. Others make more appeal
14. SOLIMAN – 4th two runs ago in a Class 4 race in mid-December over 1500m. Might find this
tough
15. DAMASK BLADE – Unplaced last time, won over 1900m at Nimes before that in mid-November
in a Class 4 race. Opposable
16. ABELARD F – 3rd at Deauville over 1500m in late December in a Class 4 race when last seen.

Summary : With solid recent form LE NOMADE (2) should give punters a good run for their money.
He was a winner two starts ago at Chantilly in a handicap and a pleasing third in a competitive
Class 2 race at the same track late last month over 1500m. KHAMMA (4) was narrowly back in
fourth in the same race as LE NOMADE (2) was third in, and looks the main rival. BOSIOH (1) and
DANTES (6) are both likely each-way options.

1200m in November. Can get off the mark
3. ARCO GRANDE – Has been out of form since a win at Marseille Borely in May over 1200m. Trip
might stretch his stamina
4. BOZA – Nice 2nd last time over 1600m in a Class 3 handicap at Deauville in early December.
Ought to be involved
5. MOUDIR – Three unplaced runs of late, 3rd before that at Chantilly over 1900m in early October
in a Class 3 handicap. Others seem more likely
6. SIGLO DE ORO – Will be better for a run earlier this month and was 4th two runs ago at Deauville
over 1400m in a Class 3 handicap. One for the shortlist
7. KARIBBEAN DREAM – 4th when last seen over 1600m at Pau in a Class 3 handicap. Outside
place chance at big odds
8. ANDINO – 5th last time , 2nd before that over 1300m at Deauville in a Class 4 handicap. In the

9. URI – Has been consistently placed of late and ran well at Deauville 20 days ago when 3rd over
1300m in a Class 4 handicap. Player
10. TAG – Two unplaced efforts of late, won before that at Deauville in early December over 1500m
in a Class 4 handicap. Outside place chance
11. IRBIS – Has numerous unplaced runs, looks out of any form he had. Is still a maiden and
unlikely to break that in this
12. MY FLINDERS – Five unplaced runs of late, 3rd before that at Vichy in September over 2000m.
Needs to recapture her best form
Summary : This could be a good opportunity for FLAMINGO HOLLOW (2) to finally get a deserved
win after numerous placed efforts mainly in Germany. URI (9) will do his best to make life difficult
for the selection and was a pleasing third at Deauville when last seen 20 days ago. BOZA (4) looks
like a good each-way option and ought to be involved at the finish. SIGLO DE ORO (6) will strip
fitter for a recent run and is one to consider.

2. BACK TO BLACK – 5th in a Group 3 race last time in August over 3000m. Back down in trip and
others look more likely
3. HARRY WAY – Has had a break since some decent runs in Group races, 2nd three runs ago in
May at Parislongchamp over 2200m and should be to smart for these
4. SPLENDINO – Has been running well of late with two wins in early 2023 and credible form since
with a 3rd in a Class 2 race in November. Might find a few of these too good
5. VERITABLE – Three recent placed efforts, the latter in a Class 2 race over 2000m in late
November. More needed to win but can be in the shake-up
6. SNOW LATE – Won two runs ago over 2000m at Munich-Riem (Germany) in mid-October. Looks
out of her depth
7. ALMANZORA – Won a Class 2 race over 2000m at Pau in late October last time. She is
improving and has place claims
8. AVOLTA – Won her last two runs, the latter a Class 2 at Deauville over 2500m late last month.
Can have a say
9. INCLINATION – Won two runs back over 2200m in a maiden in mid-October. Might find this
difficult
Summary : HARRY WAY (3) was highly tried in a Listed race last time when unplaced and was a
good second in a Group 3 at Parislongchamp in late May three runs ago over 2200m. He should
be fit and too smart for his rivals. AMELIELYMPIQUE (1) is useful and will make the selection pull
out all the stops. AVOLTA (8) has been in great form with two wins in December. This requires
more but she will be full of confidence and is one to take seriously. VERITABLE (5) looks best of
the remainder.

be overlooked
3. CORKY – Two unplaced runs recently, 4th before that over 2500m in a Class 4 race. Others
seem more likely
4. VERLAN – Two recent good efforts, with a win and a recent 2nd both at Toulouse. The latter
over 2400m in a Class 3 handicap. Contender
5. SANCHO – Has dropped in the ratings since a win over 3000m in March 2023 in a Class 3 race.

6. BUSINESS PLAN – Nice 2nd two runs ago in late October over 2600m in a Class 4 race. Can
place at nice odds
7. L’INDOMPTABLE – Won a claimer at Saint-Cloud when last seen in late November over 2400m.

8. ARISTOCRATE – Has been a bit frustrating but is blessed with ability and can play a lead role

event. One to consider

13. SAINT LANGIS – 4th in late November at Toulouse over 3000m in a Class 3 handicap when
last racing. Makes limited appeal
14. GOOD QUESTION – Three recent unplaced runs, 2nd before that over 2600m on the PSF in
early December. Others more likely
15. HALO ON FIRE – Two unplaced runs over hurdles of late and hardly inspiring form on the flat
before that. Avoidable
16. AMIATA – Five unplaced runs of late, 3rd before that over 2400m in October. Hardly inspiring

Summary : VERLAN (4) has been in good shape of late with a win and a second-placed effort last
time at Toulouse over 2400m. He is given the vote over the likely main danger L’INDOMPTABLE
(7) who has plenty of talent and will be in good shape after a recent success at Saint-Cloud in late
November. ARISTOCRATE (8) is talented and if in the right frame of mind he can be involved in
the business end. MISS ROAZHON (11) won last time and warrants respect.
