October. Has risen in the weights and is in the handicapper’s grip
3. PEDRITO – Won two runs ago at Parislongchamp on turf in a Class 1 handicap. Last of 9 in a
Listed race at this track on November 5th when last seen. Others preferred
4. PTIT PEDRO – Won at this track over 1300m at the start of 2023, has been unplaced in two
Class 2 handicaps of late at this track. Can play a lead role over a trip and track he has won at
5. INVESTISSEUR – Has won his last three races, the latter a Class 3 handicap over track and trip
in late November. Will find this tough from stall 16
6. SAHARA SPRING – Good run when 2nd at this track in mid-November over 1400m in a
handicap. Can not be discounted at this racecourse
7. MAGIC VATI – Fair 6th last time and a good 4th in a Class 2 handicap at this track over 1300m
in August. Each-way angle
8. FREJA – Nice run when 2nd at Chantilly on December 9th over 1300m. Can not be overlooked
9. TORPEN – Has several unplaced runs since a win on grass at Deauville in August over 1200m.
Opposable
10. MAJOR OAK – Seems to like this track and trip, fair 4th two runs ago at this venue in October
in a handicap. Hard to rule out despite stall 9
11. CREW DRAGON – 2nd two runs ago in a Class 2 race over 1600m at Pornichet in midNovember. Not a good draw in 15 and others appeal more
12. KIZMAMBO – Won a maiden over 1300m at this track in November two runs back and was a
decent 3rd in a Class 2 race 23 days ago at this track. Player
13. CHARLOTTE BAY – Won two runs ago over 1600m at Chantilly in late November, not up to
Listed Class when last seen 23 days ago at this track over 1500m. Place chance
14. FEEL YOUR POWER – 4th in a Class 2 race at Pornichet in mid-November two starts ago. Not
disgraced when 7th in a Class 2 race last time on December 9th. Wide stall and needs a few to
falter
15. TERRITORYWAR – Has eased to a good handicap rating after a few unplaced efforts since a
course and distance win at the start of the year in a Class 3 race. Can place from a wide draw 16. DJENNE – 2nd three runs ago over 1200m at Deauville on turf in August in a Class 2 race, poor
run when last seen over track and trip earlier this month. Avoidable
Summary : PTIT PEDRO (4) won over course and distance at the start of the year. He has run
well on three of his last five runs with a second and a fourth-placed effort in a Class 2 handicap in
October. Can be forgiven for two modest efforts in November and is taken to score at attractive
odds from SAHARA SPRING (6) who will likely start at a much shorter price. MAGIC VATI (7) and
FREJA (8) are others that need to be respected as is KIZMAMBO (12).

at Mulheim in July before the latest run over 2200m. Others preferred
4. L’AMBASSADEUR – 5th last time over 2700m at Chantilly earlier this month in a claimer. Top
three chance
5. VIRTUOSE – Four unplaced runs so far over various trips, the latest over 1900m 20 days ago at
this track in a maiden. Hard to fancy
6. CYANE – Three unplaced runs since a win at Angers in September over 2300m. Hard to ignore
7. DOURO VALLEY – Won three runs ago over 2900m at Amiens in October. Can not be
overlooked from an each-way angle
8. LE GAST – 5th last time, 2nd before that over 3000m in late September. Can make the top four
9. CASE MONEY – Three unplaced runs of late, 4th before that over 1400m at Saint-Cloud in May.
Merits consideration
10. MARINDOR – Pulled up in a maiden at Chantilly on his only start last year in September when
looking to have got injured. Best watched
11. LE SELMAN – Three unplaced runs since a win over 2700m at Orleans in May in a maiden
race. Might find this difficult
12. ARUME – 2nd last time over 2200m at Munich-Riem (DEU) in late November. Can be respected
in this grade of race
13. KUP DAVIS – Well behind in three maiden races, the latter over 2200m in July at Clairefontaine.
Can be avoided
14. CHAYTON GIFT – Nice 4th in a handicap 10 days ago. A winner over 2500m in September
over 2500m. Among the leading chances
15. ATACAMA DU MAZET – Unplaced over 2200m in a claimer last time at Amiens in November.
Has work to do to be involved
Summary : THIRD BATCH (1) shaped well on her first run on French soil 16 days ago. She won
on the flat at Lingfield (GBR) in July. She gets the vote ahead of CHAYTON GIFT (14) who is well
weighted and ran a good race when fourth in a handicap 10 days ago at Deauville. LE GAST (8)
has enough talent to warrant plenty of respect and ought to be involved at the business end as
should CYANE (6) who won at Angers earlier this year.

but others are preferred
3. PHOENIX CHOP – Has several unplaced runs over various trips. Seems of limited ability and
can be passed over
4. DON’T WATCH ME CRY – 4th at Craon 23 days ago over 2400m in a maiden. Capable of making
the top three
5. ROSHDIYA – Unplaced on the sole run in July over 2400m at Clairefontaine. Nice pedigree and
should improve from her debut
6. BELLBIRD – Ran well when 2nd last time at Chantilly in late November over 2700m. Can play a
lead role
7. KARMA DU GRENAT – 6th on her only start at Craon over 2400m in early December. Should
make progress from that and can feature
8. PARTNUN – Three nice runs so far, placed on all three with the latest effort over 2200m at
Dieppe in late August. Looks ready to win
9. GOT HAWK – Newcomer by Gleneagles, from a good trainer who can ready a debutante. Watch
the betting closely for clues
10. CASH BOW – Newcomer by Morandi, stable runners tend to improve for a run or two. The
Betting market can guide
Summary : PARTNUN (8) has faired well on all three of her runs so far. The latest effort was over
2200m at Dieppe when she was third behind two nice fillies. BELLBIRD (6) should be effective over
this trip, she ran well when second at Chantilly over slightly further and has enough talent to be on
the premises. DRIMYS (1) can come forward from her promising debut when she was second and
can be involved in proceedings. DON’T WATCH ME CRY (4) looks best of the remainder.

2. MAIZIERES – Below par of late but a good 5th in a handicap at Parislongchamp in late October
over 1600m. Contender
3. ANIELSKA – Two recent promising runs in handicaps, and a win before that over 1600m in
August. Competitive run expected
4. CASAURINA – Disappointing run last time at this venue over 1300m in November. Two good
runs before that when placed on both runs, the latter over 1600m. Can feature
5. LAFAYETTE – Unplaced last time, 3rd over 1200m before that at Nimes in early November.

6. BREIZHY GIRL – Unplaced last time, 3rd before that over 1600m at Parislongchamp in late
October in a handicap. Place chance

Poor form when last seen and needs to get back on track
Summary : ANIELSKA (3) has shown decent form in two handicap runs since a win in August over
1600m at Rochefort-Sur-Loire by 2L. She can score here from MAIZIERES (2) was below par last
time at the end of November, but ran well at Parislongchamp before that over 1600m in October.
CASAURINA (4) and UN INSTANT (1) are place contenders.
