GOOSEBUMPS did not show much on local debut but could improve back on the Polytrack POMPEI WARNING has changed trainers and is trying the Polytrack so deserves respect. THE BUSINESS showed improvement last time out and could earn some money. SEBASTIAN’S ANGEL has made the trip from Gauteng and could be a threat.

Race Summary: REACH FORTHE STARS only found one better on local debut and looks the right one for this race. MIRACULOUS MAN is unreliable but is capable of contesting the finish. US OPEN is battling to win a race but could play a minor role once again. BIG FIVE was a bitter disappointment last time out but is capable of earning some money. MAKHACHEV makes his local debut and would not be a surprise winner. BRIDGERTON continues to hold his form and is long overdue a win.

Race Summary: GIDEON’S DAUGHTER seems a tough ride. She was unlucky not to win her penultimate start and the returning Greg Cheyne may do the job for trainer Alan Greeff on this filly. KITTY MO has been unreliable but could earn some money. NAIROBI lacks a finishing effort but will be competitive. TIBETAN TEMPTRESS has been a disappointment in her two starts but could improve. TEMPELHOFF seems better than her last run. MISS TUCKER is in good form and is not out of it. AS FATE HAS IT makes her local debut and can improve.

Race Summary: FAIRY KNIGHT has been a bit unlucky of late. He has been narrowly beaten in three of his last four starts and deserves a change of luck and a winning turn. EMPIRE BLUE showed us what he is capable of with a wide margin victory last time and seems to have improved. LEGAL THRILLER won well last time out and could be a lot better than rated. ABOUND has been a disappointment of late but could like this longer distance. IDITA was a disappointment last time but that run is probably best forgotten. BACK FOR MORE was ahead of IDITA last time and there should not be much between them this time.

Race Summary: A tough handicap. TREASURE HUNT ran well on local debut but tries the Polytrack for the first time. FLAME FLOWER is holding form and is clearly not out of it. OPERA SWING has struck a purple patch of form with two nice wins and can complete the hat-trick. PUBLIC BENEFIT was not disgraced when third last time and should fight out the finish. OFFICIAL SECRET quickened up nicely when winning her penultimate start and only found one better last time. She has a winning chance. GOLD FOR AFRICA and HEY SIRI are two others worth considering for larger exotics.

Race Summary: An open-looking race and it would be brave to leave out runners in this leg of the Pick 6. GREAT AFFAIR disappointed last time on the turf but was a nice winner on this surface before that. JASPERO picked up a rare win on the turf last time out and is very consistent on the Polytrack. MOHANDAS was not disgraced in his first run after winning a maiden race and could contest the finish again. ST CLOUD is improving and clearly not out of it. THEN IN FOCUS showed improvement last time and is long overdue a win.

CHERE FOR ME is probably at best on the turf but would not be a surprise winner. BONNAROO returned to form with a nice run last time and should be a threat. BAUBLES AND BEADS won narrowly last time out but can contest the finish.

Race Summary: CLAP OF THUNDER quickened really nicely when winning his penultimate start. It is never easy to do that on the Polytrack and he will need a decent early pace to score. PATH OF CHOICE has been very good of late and was a most unlucky loser last time and can go one better this time. WIND SOCK likes this surface and can contest the finish. UBISIKA won well on local debut and could have more to offer. FIERY DUKE can finish in the money when in the mood.
