Race Preview

R1 – GRAND PRIX DE NANTES – 14E ETAPE DU DEFI DU GALOP – 2200m (a1 3/8m) – TURF – Condition Race – Flat – EUR € 60.000

1. GOYA SENORA – A useful performer who ran 6th last time over 2400m at Saint-Cloud 23 days
ago in a Class 2 handicap. In the mix
2. ONLY THE BRAVE – Fair 2nd over 2200m at Clairefontaine in a Class 3 race 12 days ago.
Needs a few to falter to feature
3. MORMONA – Fair 4th at Fontainebleau 19 days ago over 3000m in a Class 2 race. Merits
consideration
4. SRIFANELOGREEN – Won three runs ago over 2500m in a Class 2 handicap at Deauville in
early August. Capable of a bold show
5. ZARAKHAN – Won the last two races, the latest over 2400m at Lignieres on October 21st in a
Class 4 race. Has work to do in a better race
6. SALOCIN – Won a Class 2 race at this track over 2400m on October 5th when last seen.
Improving and can not be ruled out
7. ALLADA – Previous Listed race winner in November over 2400m. Not seen since an unplaced
effort in late July over 2400m in a Listed race. Ought to be thereabouts
8. PALAIS DU LOUVRE – Won narrowly in a Class 2 race last time in late May over 2400m at
Parislongchamp. On the upgrade and can be competitive
9. BEL ET BIEN – 3rd in a Class 1 race last time over 2400m in late September. Might place at
nice odds
10. NOIR – Fair 4th over 2600m on October 1st when last racing in Poland. Looks out of her depth

Summary : PALAIS DU LOUVRE (8) is improving with racing and can make the step up in class
today. He scored narrowly in a strongly contested Class 2 race last time at Parislongchamp in May.
He will be fit for this assignment after just over 5 months absence. GOYA SENORA (1) is a solid
performer in this type of race and can be on the premises. SRIFANELOGREEN (4) looks the best
each-way option in a competitive race. ALLADA (7) can not be ignored on her best form.

SELECTIONS
PALAIS DU LOUVRE (8) – GOYA SENORA (1) – SRIFANELOGREEN (4) – ALLADA (7)

R2 – PRIX GO INTERIM – 2200m (a1 3/8m) – TURF – Divised Handicap – Flat – EUR € 16.000

1. GRAZANO – Absent since finishing 9th in a handicap at Senonnes-Pouancé in June but has
sound references. Not taken lightly
2. FLIGHT DE JUILLEY – Doesn’t have much margin at this handicap value but has already shown
sufficient means to finish among the places on his return
3. COSQUER VRAS – Consistent last-start winner who should remain competitive despite a 2,5kg
penalty. High on the shortlist
4. SILVER SIGN – Last-start winner who is currently in full possession of her means. Capable of
following up on her return to the handicaps
5. SIRNODIN – Out of sorts but has his handicap value revised downwards, so is not incapable of
getting into the picture
6. AMERICAN SAINT – Unreliable but not incapable of getting into the picture judged on her best
references. Hard to trust but is as hard to rule out
7. FALWUKAIR LAUJAC – Won on a handicap on PSF two starts back but has finished unplaced
in each of his other 9 starts. Outsider
8. WHITENIGHT – Has already proven competitive at this level on this track and is in both good
form and physical condition. Can fight for victory
9. TRES RUSH – Capable veteran who finished a reassuring 2nd in his last start. Can get a look in
here if confirming that improvement
10. MI BONITO – Has looked distinctly ordinary for some time now, so his chances are limited even
at this level. Ignore

Summary : Last-start winner SILVER SIGN (4) arrives at the top of her game and seems capable
of winning again on her return to the handicaps. WHITENIGHT (8), whose last outing on this track
was encouraging, also has a winning chance. Recent scorer COSQUER VRAS (3) has a 2,5kg
penalty to shoulder but ought to remain competitive. GRAZANO (1) and FLIGHT DE JUILLEY (2)
return from their respective absences but have references at this level, so can’t be discounted
either. SIRNODIN (5) completes the shortlist.

SELECTIONS
SILVER SIGN (4) – WHITENIGHT (8) – COSQUER VRAS (3) – GRAZANO (1)

R3 – PRIX MADAME CLAUDE ROUGET – 2200m (a1 3/8m) – TURF – Divised Handicap – Flat – EUR € 20.000

1. LIB DUBAWI – Caught the eye recently when finishing well in a handicap at Bordeaux-Le
Bouscat. Should do well again on a track that suits
2. MYSTIC – Has remained consistent since his debut and is one to note in his first outing in the
handicaps. Has claims
3. SEEKING DICKENS – Lines up here in good form and physical condition. Ought to continue that
momentum so is likely to be competitive
4. QUICK FLASH – Unplaced in both outings since winning three starts back. Doesn’t have much
margin at this value but has a place chance
5. YEMASKA – Inconsistent but did finish a reassuring 2nd last time. Could get into the picture if
building on that improvement
6. KER STORMY – Has already proven his competitiveness at this level and on this Nantes layout,
so ought to have a say in the finish
7. SILVER SILK – Absent since winning a PSF handicap at Chantilly in December. Up just 1kg but
is best watched for now
8. MON RICIN – Has regained momentum with two comeback outings and finished a reassuring
2nd last time out. Returns to the handicaps at a reduced value
9. RUE JONAS – Capable mare with the ability to accelerate well on heavy ground, so she ought
to be a factor here. Keep safe
10. SUNBEAM – Finished unplaced at Argentan recently but would have needed that outing after
an absence of more than a year. Watch for now

Summary : LIB DUBAWI (1) acquitted himself competitively in a handicap at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat
recently and need only repeat that performance here to fight for victory. KER STORMY (6) has also
already proven himself at this level and on this track too, so is also a candidate for success. RUE
JONAS (9), on a track that should suit, consistent MYSTIC (2) on his handicap debut, in-form
SEEKING DICKENS (3) as well as MON RICIN (8), who returns to the handicaps at a reduced
value, are others likely to be competitive for the leading places.

SELECTIONS
LIB DUBAWI (1) – KER STORMY (6) – RUE JONAS (9) – MYSTIC (2)
