Summary : A race of newcomers and the betting will be the best guide normally. TRAFALGAR
SQUARE (2) catches the eye on breeding and riding arrangements and gets a narrow choice.
TOYOTOMI (4) is well enough bred to be able to win early in career. ANATOLE (1) and ROSE
OF THE CITY (9) are two others that would not be surprise winners.

SELECTIONS
TRAFALGAR SQUARE (2) – TOYOTOMI (4) – ANATOLE (1) – ROSE OF THE CITY (9)

Summary : LUCKY WINE (3) ran a race full of promise on debut when he was fourth at Chantilly
on the turf at the end of September. The winner that day was Ramadan who was fourth in the
Criterium De Saint-Cloud (Gr.1), so the race was a good one. He can score from CALANDAGAN
(1) who ran well himself on debut when he was third and can have a say in this. BLOOMEREC
(4) has done nothing wrong in three second-placed efforts and is a player. SILVER SPUR (7)
needs to be watched closely on his debut.

SELECTIONS
LUCKY WINE (3) – CALANDAGAN (1) – BLOOMEREC (4) – SILVER SPUR (7)

Summary : An open looking race. ROSE D’ETE (5) is improving and only found one better last

over the course and distance. There should be lots of improvement forthcoming. NOVA KEN (6)
ran well when third on debut and is not out of it. FUN WITH FLAGS (7) makes her debut but
deserves respect on breeding.

go one better this time
9. RAKHMAN – A two-year-old colt by Due Diligence out of Rasima who is making his debut.
Watch the betting

Summary : TASHANKA (8) showed promise when runner-up over a similar distance and can go
one better with improvement expected. RAKHMAN (9) could be the main danger as he catches
the eye on breeding and could be good enough to win o debut. KIND OF STAR (3) could be
ready to show improvement in stepped up in distance. LOVERS DAY (1) has done well at this

out. Goes a lot further and can go one better

Summary : SA SAL (6) is coming off a nice runner-up performance and go one better going a lot
further this time. ARISTOCRATE (4) has run well at this course before and should be right there
at the finish once again. PEGASUS (1) was third over this track and trip last time out and can do
even better this time. ARISTOCRATE (4) may need to do more to win this race but can earn
some more money.

SELECTIONS

on turf. Has placed form on the PSF at Deauville. Ought to have a say

handicap in mid-September, when narrowly beaten. Leading chance

Summary : Previous course winner ALVA (16) looks like the best option off a low weight in this
tricky handicap. A close-up fifth at Saint-Cloud on October 5th was a pleasing effort and she was
a good second at Fontainebleau in the Prix Roland Fougedoire (Class 2 handicap) in midSeptember, when narrowly beaten. SAHARA SPRING (3) will try to make life difficult for her rivals
and is a live player. QUARTZ DU HOULEY (2) has risen in the weight’s but still merits
consideration. COSMO BEAU (9) looks best of the remainder.

SELECTIONS
ALVA (16) – SAHARA SPRING (3) – QUARTZ DU HOULEY (2) – COSMO BEAU (9)

nice wins and should be a lively danger carrying a penalty. SANBER (5) has been consistent in
France so perhaps the last run in Spain is best ignored. DOCTEUR TOURNESOL (6) is better on
the turf so will improve on last run.

SELECTIONS
BREIZH WOOD (8) – FOXGLOVE (2) – SANBER (5) – DOCTEUR TOURNESOL (6)

choice profile and will be expected to make a bold show on debut. TROPHANE (8) shaped with
promise when second on her debut 28 days ago. She looks like the each-way option. GRIGNA
DEL NORD (4) is also worth considering from a place perspective.

deserves respect for that win

Outside place chance
8. PALANZANO – Three unplaced runs of late, 4th before that over 1800m at Clairefontaine in

and could bounce back to score
7. LE CHATELAIN – Fit after three runs this year but has struggled in five starts and is best
watched until, major improvement is shown
