1. TALENTUOSO – Newcomer by Omaha Beach, Soumillon booked to ride from a leading
trainer. Any market support can be noted
2. BOLIDE PORTO – Newcomer by Le Havre, will likely need further in trip in time. Any market
interest should be noted
3. THOMAS SHELBY – Colt by Profitable, should be better for this outing. Any market support will
be informative
4. BOWMAKERS – Colt by Sioux Nation, from the Rouget operation, sure to be well trained for a
good effort on the opening run. Market can guide
5. TECUMSEH – Colt by Sioux Nation, has a nice profile, and Barzalona booked to ride. Watch
for any market support
6. SOME SKYE – Filly by Churchill, can improve for this outing. Monitor the betting for any
support
7. RADHARANI – Newcomer by Kingman, choice pedigree, half-sister to numerous winners
including Almanzor ( Triple Group 1 winner ) bold show expected on debut
8. RHETORIQUE – Filly by Wootton Bassett, from a leading stable. With Guyon riding, she can
play a lead role. Monitor the betting
Summary : Some well bred juveniles line up for this all unraced. The half-sister to top-class
performer Almanzor ( Triple Group 1 winner) RADHARANI (7) will be expected to make a winning
debut. RHETORIQUE (8) and BOWMAKERS (4) both have nice profiles and are from handlers
who know how to prepare their juveniles for a nice debut run. The betting market is always
informative in these type of events. TALENTUOSO (1) will get every assistance from Christophe
Soumillon in the saddle and warrants respect.

1. FRENCH DEFENSE – 5th in a Class 2 race last time over 1200m at Deauville in mid-August.
Can get off the mark
2. LEMON ZEST – Unplaced last time at Saint-Cloud over 1400m in early May. Others are more
likely
3. BIG STAR – Has been 4th on the last three runs, the latter over 1000m in July at Vichy. Can
make the frame
4. TRIPLE TROUBLE – 3rd at Pompadour on only run over 1600m in early August. Might find a
few of these too smart
5. SIXTUS – Unplaced in a Class 3 handicap last time over 1100m 13 days ago. Capable but not
totally genuine
6. RISE ABOVE – 2nd two runs back over 1000m at Vichy in early August. Others make more
sense
7. PIERREFITTE – Good 2nd two runs back over 1400m at Saint-Cloud in June. In the mix
8. KATLEIYA – Fair 3rd last time over 1400m at Deauville in late August. Can not be ruled out
9. LA PONCHE – Two unplaced runs so far, the latter over 1400m in mid-August. Looks safely
held
Summary : FRENCH DEFENSE (1) ran well in a Class 2 event last time and is more than
capable of finally getting his head in front today. PIERREFITTE (7) is the main rival if emulating
her second placed run at Saint-Cloud two starts ago over 1400m. She was a bit below par in a
handicap last time, but can be forgiven for that. KATLEIYA (8) looks one to include in all of the
place bets, she faired well when third last time at Deauville and should not be overlooked. BIG
STAR (3) has made the frame in all of his runs and can once again feature.
