in another claimer. The two German raiders MISSOURI (3) and WILLIBALD (8) have similar profiles
and woul not be surprise winners dropped toa claiemr for the first time. MARLOWE (4) is probably
at best on the PSF but is distance suited and deserves some respect in a tough race.

SELECTIONS

in 2021/22. He is marginally preferred after a good second in a Listed race on his latest outing in
June over today’s trip. He seems ideally suited by the 1000m more so than COEUR DE PIERRE
(1) who may prefer slightly further to be at his very best. PONNTOS (3) scored last time over 1200m
and has form over today’s journey. HISPANIC (7) also needs careful consideration. He makes the

6. GHADAH – Good effort when 2nd at Doncaster last time in a Group 1 race over 2000m. Player

Summary : A good second last time at Doncaster in mid-August when finishing off her race strongly
GHADAH (6) can go one better in this. SAHAB (4) could be the biggest danger having been highly
tried in Group 1 races last time. This race is not as competitive. ELAF (5) was a good second
recently and ought to play a lead role at the business end of the race. JARIF (2) is another that
enters calculations on her best form.

Summary : The ultra-consistent IRESINE (3) scored in the Prix Ganay (Gr.1) last time in late April
at this track. He won this race in 2022 and has had a nice break and will be fit enough for this
assignment. His main rival is PLACE DU CARROUSEL (4) who tries the 2400m for the first time.
She won the Prix De L’Opera (Gr.1) last October at this track and scored nicely in a Group 3 last
time over 2000m. She normally relaxes which gives her every hope of staying and being
competitive. FENELON (1) is usually ridden with patience and if he manages to get some ‘cover’

August. Consider
16. PUMP PUMP JUNIOR – Fair 2nd last time over 1850m at Vichy in late August in a Class 3
handicap. Others rate higher

Summary : MONEYMAN (9) is the tentative selection in a very open handicap. He will strip a lot
fitter today after a credible run 26 days ago at Vichy. His biggest threat could be PRINCIPE (5) who
was midfield in a competitive handicap last time and a good second before that at this track over
1400m in June. WINTER’S LOVE (14) is lightly raced and should be included in all of the place bet
permutations. She faired well last time when third at Deauville in mid-August. BEVAN (13) is
another to be considered and ought to make the frame.

SELECTIONS
KARYNIA (9) – ZILCOVER (6) – SWEET MASTER (2) – SAGE DREAM (1)

Summary : BLUE ROSE CEN (8) might have won at Goodwood in the Nassau Stakes (Gr.1) last
time when finishing an unlucky fourth. She can make amends and has every chance of staying the
2400m journey today on her first try over this distance. WARM HEART (6) won the Yorkshire Oaks
(Gr.1) 17 days ago. She was never involved in a slowly run Irish Oaks (Gr.1) before her recent win.
She is getting better and looks like the main rival ahead of strong stayer MELO MELO (1) who
scored narrowly last time in a Group 2 (Prix De Pomone) at Deauville 22 days ago and can once
again have a say. CROWN PRINCESSE (5) makes up the shortlist.
