and is a big chance. Each way

Summary : NE ME QUITTE PAS (1) has done exceptionally well in all four starts and is clearly
very progressive. He should be hard to peg back. FOU FURIEUX (2) has won two of his last
three and is also progressive and talented. He should give plenty cheek to the first choice. RUBY
IN THE ROCKS (4) was a winner at this track last time out and could follow up.
FLOWERSPRING (5) has won her last two in fine style and it would be no shock if she were to
reel of the hat trick.

Lion D’Angers over 2400m late July. Big place chance
6. KOKOUETTE – Will need to improve a lot on average debut when 7th over 2400m In July.
Happy to ignore and wait for improvement

Summary : KAMARO D’HUEZ (1) is an exciting horse whom was a facile winner in this class last
time. He has the credentials of a quality individual in the making and rates the one to be with.
KATCHINA (4) could end up being absolutely anything, like most in this field. His last two
victories were excellent and a bold effort should come from him again. KANDALIUS (3) has
placed in both his races and should earn again. The win will come soon, but for today, he seems
to have more of a place chance that a winning one and KIKI MORIVIERE (5) has a small place
chance.

SELECTIONS
KAMARO D’HUEZ (1) – KATCHINA (4) – KANDALIUS (3) – KIKI MORIVIERE (5)

been below best. Is capable of a good effort and cannot be ignored

two out of his last four starts and is one for the shortlist and an inclusion in all bets. He likes this
track too. COSMAS (1) is taking time to win again but is never too far off the winners and can

runs back but needs to build on form since then. Include in quartet perms.

SELECTIONS
APOLLON (6) – LIVING NELSON (4) – COSMAS (1) – GIOVANNI DAL PONTE (5)

1. ESPRIT JOYEUX – Has solid form, always runs well and is as honest as the day is long. Won
penultimate and finished 3rd recently at Aix-Les-Bains. The one to beat
2. HELIOPOLIS – Is a 3 time winner but was off form before much better last run when 3rd over
2500m at Aix-Les-Bains. Outsider with a small place chance

Expect a huge effort. Strong place chance
6. DISBELA – Has placed 3 from 3, more than likely has more to offer but could find this tough.
Outside place chance at best
7. NIGWA – Has shown form and ability in England and could make her presence felt big time in
local debut. Do not ignore. Chance
8. SPANISH – Interesting runner, coming off back-to-back wins in England and could be way
better than these. Strong each way chance

Summary : ESPRIT JOYEUX (1) goes very strongly over this trip, has ultra-consistent form to
recommend and could be a hard horse to beat. ASHGHAR (3) has very erratic form. When he is
off form, he is badly off, but when in form, he is winning and winning well. Hard to assess but
obvious claims in this. AMRITA (5) has not won the maiden yet and is fairly well tried, but can
finish in the money based on best efforts. SPANISH (8) has solid winning form in England, makes
her local debut and could be better than the lot here.

SELECTIONS
ESPRIT JOYEUX (1) – ASHGHAR (3) – AMRITA (5) – SPANISH (8)

R5 – PRIX DE LA SOURCE CHOMEL – 1600m (a1m) – TURF – Divised Handicap – Class 4 – Flat – EUR € 16.000

1. LA CATELLA – Holding form, never too far off the action and can build on recent 4th at La Test
over this distance. Big danger
2. TWIN BOY – Is in good form and can build on encouraging 3rd at Deauville over 1500m earlier
this month. Strong each way chance

shock winner and can be ignored
4. AMERICAN DAISY – Ignore last start, was a winner at penultimate over this course and
distance. Include in all bets. Bright win chance
5. LA FILLE DE BERLIN – Has shown some ability and form before, needs to build on current
efforts but more than capable of a big run in this. Place chance
6. WAYNE – Currently a tad off form and has a few lengths to find for the win but could lurk into
the back end of the quartet
7. BLACK PANTHER – Last two attractive runs hold her in good stead for a huge effort here.
Each way chance
8. THIRD APPLE – Is a long time, battling maiden but on best efforts can be given a small place
chance
9. JONH FOR ALWAYS – Taking forever to win, looks an unlikely winner in this. Pass by
10. CHEEKY TRAOU LAND – A six time winner that is currently off form. Will need to build a lot
on current record. Finished 8th last time
11. ASTROLOGO – Impossible to fancy and select on current form. Can easily be passed over

Summary : TWIN BOY (2) is a consistent son of Myboycharlie whom should run another very
admirable race. He has been running well of late and can find the winners enclosure today. LA
CATELLA (1) is taking some time to score again but in saying that, has very honest form to boast.
BLACK PANTHER (7) is another that is taking time to pass the line first again, but has done it
three times before. Her recent form is encouraging and she is a must for all bets and LA FILLE
DE BERLIN (5) can do much better than she recently has been.

SELECTIONS
TWIN BOY (2) – LA CATELLA (1) – BLACK PANTHER (7) – LA FILLE DE BERLIN (5)

R6 – PRIX DE LA SOURCE LARDY – 1600m (a1m) – TURF – Divised Handicap – Class 3 – Flat – EUR € 19.000

July At Mont-De-Marsan. Good chance
2. KENZAL – Best recent effort was 4 starts back when 2nd over 1800m in April. More needed for
the win and can be ignored
3. LARNO – Won in July over the track and trip and followed that up with a good 2nd over the
same course and distance. He has very strong each way claims
4. MANAROLA – Could be some outside value for the places but others should be much the
stronger for the win
5. MYSTERY – Ignore last run, has a bright chance on solid penultimate win at this track over
further. Good chance
6. LORLISALSA – Has a very small place chance based on recent 3rd at this track but earlier
form not the greatest. Outsider with a small say
7. HOOLONG – Best recent effort was three runs back when 3rd at Lyon Parilly over 2000m. Will
need to build on form since. Prefer others
8. TOUTELUSIVE – Brings good, winning form into the race and comes off an attractive win over
the course and distance. The one to beat
9. NAVIDAD – Ran well into 2nd at Pornichet in January, third run back from a rest and should be
cherry ripe but big improvement required

Summary : TOUTELUSIVE (8) is in a rich vein of form and impressed when winning over this
track and trip last time. She is selected to follow up. LARNO (3) has a rating of 33 due to his
consistent efforts. He is a serious proposition in this event and must be respected. OXALIS (1) is
by Invincible Spirit and won his penultimate. He can build on his last result when 5th and has
obvious, strong each way claims. MYSTERY (5) can build on his below par performance last time
and can stake a claim.

SELECTIONS
TOUTELUSIVE (8) – LARNO (3) – OXALIS (1) – MYSTERY (5)

R7 – PRIX D’HAUTERIVE – 1600m (a1m) – TURF – Handicap – Flat – EUR € 20.000

1. O’SSITOT – Showed last time when 3rd at Lion D’Angers that his next career win is near. Good
chance

July. The one to fear the most in this line up
3. MR DREAMER – Has shown some ability, raced in a Listed early in career. Hard to assess.
Include as an outsider for the quartet
4. PAS RADINE – Lightly raced, won on debut, bounced back to better form last time when 4th
over 2000m at this venue
5. DIVINE CHRISNAT – Won three races back at Clairefontein over 1400m. Last run finished 4th
at this course. Strong place chance
6. TOOGOODFORSCHOOL – Taking time to get it all right. An outsider with a small place chance
7. FLEXIBILITY – Won 5 races back and has been holding form since. Caught the eye when 5th
over 1400m here at Vichy last time and can build on that. Chance
8. MAGIC TUNIS – Expect another huge run. Ran a cracker last time, 2nd over this course and
distance. Good chance of going one better.
9. FORTUNE GOLD – Has scope to build on recent local 4th at Vichy over 1600m but others
selected.
10. GO JOHNNY GO GO GO – Not so obvious on form but can be included in larger quartet
perms. Small chance at best
11. PASTEL BLUES – Will need to build a to on 3 efforts thus far and is an unlikely winner. Might
improve to place but others preferred

Summary : MAMAMOUCHI (2) is very honest and always gives of her best. Her last win was
over this distance, but at La Teste. She is always a serious proposition for first place, and today is
no exception. MAGIC TUNIS (8) is yet to win but is sitting on a 50% career place strike rate.
O’SSITOT (1) has solid overall form and a bright chance of finishing in the first three. A must for
the quartet and PAS RADINE (4) is lightly raced, won on debut and showed a form return last
time. Chance.

SELECTIONS
MAMAMOUCHI (2) – MAGIC TUNIS (8) – O’SSITOT (1) – PAS RADINE (4)

R8 – PRIX ETIENNE RIMBERT – 3000m (a1 7/8m) – TURF – Condition Race – Maiden – Flat – EUR € 22.000

1. GALISIA – Improved to finish 5th, not beaten far, behind FLORA QUEEN (4) last time. Ought
to make further progress
2. CORUNNA – Has shown enough, by finishing 3rd in both outings, to fight for victory over this
marathon trip. WIll prove hard to beat
3. BELLBIRD – Improved with the benefit of an introductory outing to finish 3rd at Clairefontaine
earlier this month. Will pose a threat if confirming
4. FLORA QUEEN – Confirmed the promise of her debut 3rd when finishing 4th last time and is
not likely to be put off by this distance. Respect
5. ZARQANA – The most experienced of the runners in this race but has not done enough to
suggest that she’ll have a role to play

Summary : Victory in this opening event is likely to be fought out between CORUNNA (2) and
BELLBIRD (3), though preference is for the former given the good recent form of trainer HenriFrançois Devin and with the Andre Fabre-trained latter needing to confirm the improvement of her
last start. After finishing 4th and 5th respectively in the reference race, FLORA QUEEN (4) and
GALISIA (1) complete the shortlist.

SELECTIONS
CORUNNA (2) – BELLBIRD (3) – FLORA QUEEN (4) – GALISIA (1)

R9 – PRIX DE POMPADOUR – 1000m (a5f) – TURF – Handicap – Class 4 – Flat – EUR € 17.000

1. VANILLE BLEUE – Has been in good heart finishing a good 2nd at this track earlier this month.
The firm first suggestion
2. WINNAN – Drops in trip, finished 2nd at Le Touquet over 1300m on the 16th of August. Expect
a huge effort. Good chance
3. GLICOURT – Has won 13 races, finished 5th last time and 2nd before that. Strong each way
say
4. EXPLORAR – Can build on recent 8th over this course and distance. Caught the eye when 3rd
at Vichy before that. Include in all bets
5. BELLE IMPRESSION – Is off form currently and will need to put best foot forward to threaten
here. Unlikely
6. EL MANSOUR – Taking forever to win and seems to be battling. Huge outsider and can be
ignored from all bets

Summary : VANILLE BLEUE (1) shows pace and ran a game second, last time. She looks set to
go one better and make it three career wins. GLICOURT (3) is evergreen, having run and won
many races and still holding his own. He always has strong each way claims. WINNAN (2)
showed last time that her penultimate engagement was all wrong. If she confirms and builds on
her latest effort, she will go very close. EXPLORAR (4) can make his presence felt at the finish.

SELECTIONS
VANILLE BLEUE (1) – GLICOURT (3) – WINNAN (2) – EXPLORAR (4)

R10 – PRIX NICHOLAS – 1800m (a1 1/8m) – TURF – Condition Race – Maiden – Flat – EUR € 30.000

1. GRECIAN STORM – Beaten only by two quality colts when finishing 3rd on debut. That
experience and this extended distance will stand him in good stead
2. CLIFFS OF MOHER – Finished an encouraging 5th on his introduction and is likely to improve
with the benefit of that outing. Beware
3. ARPENTEUR – Well-bred colt that is likely to have gained plenty from the experience of his
debut run. Should have more to offer
4. ELKABIER – Showed promise on debut (4th) but failed to confirm that when only 8th last time.
Too soon to be written off
5. KITO – Zazou colt who showed little on debut, finishing a well-beaten 8th. Will need to improve
to get involved
6. ASTROLOGER – Well-bred newcomer that hails represents a stable in good form and could
benefit from that by playing a role in the finish
7. ROOSTER CROWING – Simon Planque has been engaged to ride this Chanducoq colt on
debut for trainer Mickaël Seror. Outsider
8. KIARO – Non-Runner
9. MONTCHAUVET – Dabirsim gelding on debut for the P. Butel and J.-L. Beaunez training
partnership. Hugo Journiac rides

Summary : GRECIAN STORM (1) revealed enough potential on debut, finishing 3rd behind two
quality colts, to suggest that he can win a race of this nature. He gets the nod here but will,
however, have to be wary of newcomers KIARO (8), prepared by Henri-Alex Pantall, and HenriFrançois Devin’s runner ASTROLOGER (6), although SURVEYOR (3) should also improve with
the benefit of an outing and could get involved.

SELECTIONS
GRECIAN STORM (1) – ASTROLOGER (6) – ARPENTEUR (3) – ELKABIER (4)

R11 – PRIX DES ARCADES – 1800m (a1 1/8m) – TURF – Condition Race – Maiden – Flat – EUR € 30.000

1. ROSA TREZY – Caught the eye on debut by running well on well to finish 4th and ought to
improve for that experience
2. EMPRESS STAR – Has shown enough in two starts, finishing 4th on both occasion, to suggest
she could have a say here. Not taken lightly
3. GOOD TIME ROLL – Acquired for €180,000 as a yearling last summer and showed promise on
debut in the Prix des Marettes. One to beat
4. REVALITE – Made a pleasing introduction (4th) and would have gained plenty from that
experience. Has more to offer
5. YSOIE – Finished 3rd last time, edging ahead of EMPRESS STAR (2) who renews rivalry. Can
get into the picture
6. WEDGEWOOD SAPPHIRE – Toronado filly to be ridden on debut by Ioritz Mendizabal for
trainer Paul De Chevigny. For another day
7. RAINBOW QUEEN – Has finished and well beaten in both starts so is hard to make a case for
here. Others make more appeal
8. MIA GREY – Kendargent debutante trained by Alessandro & Giuseppe Botti and with Cristian
Demuro engaged to ride. Beware
9. RUE SURCOUF – Xavier Blanchet-trained Lightning Spear filly to be ridden on debut by
Augustin Madamet. Watch for now
10. SHALELLA – Well-related half-sister to Kennella, who placed at Group III level as a two-yearold. years old. Keep safe

Summary : Of the fillies engaged here that ran in the coveted Prix des Marettes, GOOD TIME
ROLL (3) is the most likely to fight for victory in this less-demanding maiden and she could well
open her account. Yann Barberot’s charge can’t, however, underestimate ROSA TREZY (1) who
also made an encouraging start (4th) to her career. SHALELLA (10) appeals most of the
newcomers, so is respected on debut. YSOIE (5) and EMPRESS STAR (2) complete the
shortlist.

SELECTIONS
GOOD TIME ROLL (3) – ROSA TREZY (1) – SHALELLA (10) – YSOIE (5)

R12 – PRIX DE LA VAGUELOTTE – 3000m (a1 7/8m) – TURF – Condition Race – Maiden – Flat – EUR € 22.000

1. KAID GALESTE – Maintaining a good level of form and consistency and will not be bothered
by this 3000m distance. Danger
2. ROCH – Finished 3rd on debut back in and recently changes hands after finishing 4th at Vichy.
Can have a say
3. TEA TIME – Made no impression in either outing and is unlikely to buck that trend here. Others
make more appeal
4. RULE OF THUMB – Unplaced and has finished well beaten in each of three starts this year, so
is hard to recommend. Others preferred
5. SUBLIWAY – Improved last start in a claiming race at Vichy, finishing 4th. Capable of getting
into the picture
6. WURFGEIST – Improved to finish 2nd last time and will appreciate this sterner test of stamina,
so has a winning chance
7. PLUMBAGO – Mekhtaal gelding on debut for trainer Adrien Fouassier, who has engaged
Cecilia Poirier to ride. Outsider
8. ALL IN YOU – Three-year-old gelding by Triple Threat. Debuts with Ioritz Mendizabal aboard
for trainer Stéphanie Nigge
9. I AM A DOCTOR – Anne-Sophie Pacault-trained Doctor Dino gelding to be ridden on debut by
Simon Planque. Just watch for now

Summary : Prepared in Germany by renowned Waldemar Hickst, and associated here with
Augustin Madamet, it could pay to follow the progress of WURFGEIST (6) who will enjoy this long
distance, so is taken to open his account. KAID GALESTE (1), always in the first five, could pose
the biggest threat. ROCH (2) and SUBLIWAY (5) come next having run in claiming races
recently.

SELECTIONS
WURFGEIST (6) – KAID GALESTE (1) – ROCH (2) – SUBLIWAY (5)

R13 – PRIX DU QUAI HENRI IV – 1400m (a7f) – TURF – Claiming Handicap – Class 4 – Flat – EUR € 16.000

1. ZENIGATA – Making his seasonal debut but showed enough last year to warrant respect on
his reppearance. Cpable
2. VENTURA VISION – Consistent for the most part and has finished 3rd in consecutive outings
recently. Not taken lightly
3. JASMINA – Finished 5th behind TOUR D’ECHELLE (7) earlier this month and on that form
should play a leading role. role to play. Keep safe
4. VAUTRIN – Honest veteran and winner of his last start. Should remain competitive but has only
a place chance
5. TAX EXILE – Unplaced and well beaten in each of his three starts this year, so is hard to
recommend. Others preferred
6. EL BNOUD – Not disgraced in finishing 7th at claiming level on 15 August at Deauville. Ought
to be competitive
7. TOUR D’ECHELLE – Highest-rated runner in the race with the best handicap value of the
seven engaged here. Improved 4th at Clairefontaine last time, can win this

Summary : TOUR D’ECHELLE (7) improved to finish 4th at this level and over this distance at
Clairefontaine earlier this month, so is given the nod with just 54,5kg to carry – not the 71,5kg she
did last time. JASMINA (3) has finished 5th in four of her last five starts, including her last two,
and on that form should make her presence felt. EL BNOUD (6) has the means to stake a claim,
along with VENTURA VISION (2).

SELECTIONS
TOUR D’ECHELLE (7) – JASMINA (3) – EL BNOUD (6) – VENTURA VISION (2)

R14 – PRIX DE LA TOUR AUX CRABES – 1800m (a1 1/8m) – TURF – Condition Race Qualifier – Class 3 – Flat – EUR € 23.000

1. CORTEZ BANK – Has gone a long time without a win but remains remarkably consistent.
Ideally engaged here, should fight for victory
2. RIDWAAN – Undeniably capable but appears to have gone off the boil in two recent outings, so
will need to reaffirm
3. QUELLO – Absent since the beginning of April but boasts solid form references and is reunited
with his favorite rider, Maxime Guyon
4. FUEGO DEL AMOR – Finished 3rd behind NOTTINGHAM (5) over 1600m at Clairefontaine
and should have a role to play here on that form
5. NOTTINGHAM – Won in style under this rider last time at Clairefontaine over a mile and, on
that evidence, seems capable of following up
6. MIDLIFE CRISIS – Unreliable although not entirely incapable of staking a claim in a race of this
nature. Not taken lightly
7. LAZY – Was a winner before the turn of the year but made no impression in his sole outing of
2023. Outsider
8. KABIR – Unreliable but seldom finishes far off the mark on a going day. Hard to trust but is as
hard to rule out

Summary : A decisive winner over 1600m at the beginning of the month, in her first outing
partnered by Cristian Demuro, NOTTINGHAM (5) seems capable of following up, but will have to
fear consistent CORTEZ BANK (1), who is favourably entered under these conditions. FUEGO
DEL AMOR (4) finished 3rd behind the selection last time and should have a say once more, with
QUELLO (3) not discounted either having struck up a potent partnership with Maxime Guyon in
the saddle.

SELECTIONS
NOTTINGHAM (5) – CORTEZ BANK (1) – FUEGO DEL AMOR (4) – QUELLO (3)
