6. LAVIRCA DODVILLE – Won two runs ago over 2400m in early June. Can place at attractive
odds

contender

10. JANNINA – Unplaced last time, 4th before that over 2000m at Saint-Cloud in June. One to pay
attention too
11. LADY LOU – Unplaced last time but a good 2nd before that over 2400m in early June. Among
the top chances
12. CAP FAREWELL – Two out-of-the-frame runs, 4th before that over 3200m at Le Mans in late
March. Opposable
13. SCHERWOOD – Won over 2100m at Vittel last time 11 days ago. Might struggle to beat some
of these
14. PARANNDA – Fair 3rd over 2400m at Nantes on July 6th when last seen. Can not be ruled out
15. WINGS OF FIRE – Unplaced on all three runs this year. Has been out of form and is best
watched
Summary : After two good runs HAVANA SIX (8) can get back in the winner’s enclosure. She was
a good fourth over 2250m at Parislongchamp on July 6th in a Class 3 handicap when last seen.
The biggest rival could be LADY LOU (11) who has a nice racing weight and was a good second
two runs ago over 2400m in early June. WINTERLAND (4) can be one for the each-way backers
to look at after a good fourth on her latest run at Nantes. ATHINEOS (5) makes up the shortlist.
