Race Summary: Summary: Tricky maiden with many first timers and possible improvers. Of those that have run, TEATIME TIPPLE (14) has shown u well in two starts and was narrowly beaten last time out. He must have a strong chance. LICENCE TO THRILL (13) was a distant second on debut but the winner of that race looks to be a little above average. KAYGEE’S DELIGHT (8) improved at long odds over course and distance at only his second start and can feature. The same goes for MAR DEL PLATA (12) who also improved second time out but the betting could prove to be your best guide.

Race Summary: Summary: Many first timers so keep an eye on the market. Yogas Govender saddles TWINKLELITTLESTAR (11) who almost upset on debut, finishing second at long odds. She should come on from that effort. MADAME ZEE (8) has just had a name change but has also been showing some steady improvement. She switches to the turf which may be a concern. Paul Gadsby’s filly SEA OF TEARS (10) has had many chances but tends to find a couple better. She is back over her best course and distance. Alyson Wright had her best season ever with over 50 trips to the winner’s enclosure and she sends out PURPLE FLOWER (9) who drifted in the market on debut but stayed on well to finish just over two lengths back to the winner.

Race Summary: Summary: ABERDEEN (2) takes on a mostly modest field here from a good draw. He goes well this course and Glen Kotzen’s runner should make the frame. Visiting trainer Fanie Bronkhorst sends out MAMBO’S CALL (4) who should pose a threat as he appeared to enjoy the step up in trip last time out. A likely improver is POTENT CAPTAIN (5). Stuart Ferrie’s charge has caught the eye in both sprints that he has contested and he will enjoy the mile. Also going the mile for the first time for Garth Puller is KUMEMORI (1). He has a plum draw and is likely to show good improvement. VENERABLE (3) is a long-time battler but is seldom too far back and has a money chance again.

He did not appear to like the poly last run but has good form over course and distance. IBUTHO (7) goes well on both turf and poly. He has improved in blinkers and should put in a decent showing in this line-up. Peter Muscutt gave SHOEFELLA (8) a short break after shedding his maiden. He had been consistent before then and could go in again. Paul Lafferty has pitted SLEEK AS SILK (3) up against males but she gets the benefit of a 1.5kg allowance and goes well over course and distance.

Race Summary: Summary: Tough race. COVERT OPERATOR (10) has come good of late but of concern is that he has rocketed up the handicap and got another six points for his last win. However, Johan Janse van Vuuren has not sent him down for the air. Stable companion PONTIAC (5) is lightly raced and could prove to be the pick of the two. He is effective over the trip. ZIYASHA (8) was a recent maiden winner on the poly but made a smart debut four runs back. A repeat of that showing could see Clinton Binda leading him in. CHARA SANDS (9) goes well this trip and for Rachel Venniker. He should also benefit from Venniker’s 1.5kg allowance.

Race Summary: Summary: REEFWAY (10) is on her best course She was not far back in tough male company last time out. AFRICAN FOLKLORE (5) is unbeaten in two on this course in only four starts. She has a light weight which is probably why stable rider Tristan Godden has had to opt for stable companion SWEET SYMPHONY (8). BEVIES DELIGHT (1) has tumbled in the ratings from 104 three runs back to 94. She has top weight here but has been a tad unlucky on occasion. STING RAY (2) pressed Captain’s Christy all the way to the line last start and Tiennie Prinsloo’s mare has strong claims on that showing given her light weight.

Race Summary: Summary: Majority of this field are maidens and the result could rest between the two winners GOLDEN TATJANA (2) and QHAWE LAMI (7). Golden Tatjana is a filly against males. In hindsight her last run behind star turn Sandringham Summit in the Gr2 Golden Horseshoe was a decent effort and she has good form on this course in feature company. She could get the better of Qhawe Lami who appears to be a 1000m specialist at this stage of his career. Of the maidens, Sean Tarry sends out DHONI (3) who made a cracking debut but that was over a mile and he is down to a sprint. Given the stable form he cannot be overlooked lightly. AZALEAS FOR ALL (6) has shown some ability and can finish in the money.

MANIC MONDAY (5) has been beaten by Reckless Love on two occasions but was second over course and distance last time out. RECKLESS LOVE (2) has come good for Wendy Whitehead of late as she tries for a winning hat-trick. However, both of those wins have come on the poly which may be a concern.
