equipped

Summary : LE SAGE (1) ran a good race in a Class 1 event at Marseille Borely last month when
finishing fourth. This race does not look as strong and he looks like the one to beat. ROCA
PARTIDA (4) rates the biggest rival, she won her maiden well at Wissembourg in May and then ran
in a good Class 2 race at Chantilly, she should be on the premises. SAMABARA (6) has a nice bit
of experience and has some talent, she will need a personal best to win but should not be
overlooked. ZALACAIN (2) is the best of the remainder.

SELECTIONS
LE SAGE (1) – ROCA PARTIDA (4) – SAMABARA (6) – ZALACAIN (2)

on the last run. Sets the standard
4. JUSTE BERE – Unplaced the last two runs, 4th before that over 1400m at this track in May.
Vulnerable
5. HOOK – 3rd three runs ago over 1600m in a claimer in March. Needs a good deal more to have
a say

1200m 15 days ago. Hard to fancy

Summary : With good course form which includes a win two runs ago over today’s journey RAFALE
(3) looks the best option, she was not beaten far on her latest outing and seems in good shape.
HONG KONG STAR (1) is a threat, she is also a winner over course and distance in May and has
had two second-placed efforts of late, the latter at this track. KARIBBEAN DREAM (2) has eachway claims, he has won at this track before and ran well when third last time. AZUR AS WELL (8)
warrants respect and can be competitive.

SELECTIONS
RAFALE (3) – HONG KONG STAR (1) – KARIBBEAN DREAM (2) – AZUR AS WELL (8)

Summary : SINNERMAN (2) won on the all-weather surface at Marseille Pont De Vivaux in March
and ran a good second over 1500m at the same track again in late June in a Class 2 race last time.
He should be very competitive here. CHAPELIER (5) can make the selection work hard as he was
a good second 22 days ago and although yet to win he has a solid chance. EUREKA (1) scored on
her last run and will need more if hoping to win, but she can make her presence felt. IMAGINE
CHOP (6) is still looking for that first success and can be competitive without troubling the principles.

SELECTIONS
SINNERMAN (2) – CHAPELIER (5) – EUREKA (1) – IMAGINE CHOP (6)

limited appeal

Live contender
3. FLYLEYF – 5th at this track last time over 1200m 15 days ago. Ought to be on the premises

track and can get a deserved success. FLYLEYF (3) ran a credible race when fifth not beaten far
over 1200m at this track 15 days ago narrowly behind FORCE CAT (2) who was fourth. FEEL THE
FEVER (5) is one for the each-way backers to be tempted by, she is usually on the premises.
IZAKAYA (8) enters calculations if he can recapture his best form and is more than capable if in
the right frame of mind.

SELECTIONS
FORCE CAT (2) – FLYLEYF (3) – FEEL THE FEVER (5) – IZAKAYA (8)

sense
3. BASELITZ – Won over 2000m on the last run in late June. Should like the step up in trip and can
feature
4. MANDALORIAN – Won at this track over 3000m on the last run 15 days ago. Needs more in a
better race and can be competitive
5. AMALFINA – Won on her last outing over 2400m at Toulouse in late June. Can play a lead role

Summary : VAZIRPOUR (1) will be hard to beat, he was a good third in a Class 1 race last time
behind a couple of useful horses and should be too smart for his rivals today. The only filly in the
race AMALFINA (5) looks like the main threat. She won with a bit in hand at Toulouse on her last
outing and should have no concerns with a slight drop in trip. MANDALORIAN (4) takes a drop in
trip from his success over 3000m at this track 17 days ago, more is required although he can be
involved.

SELECTIONS
VAZIRPOUR (1) – AMALFINA (5) – MANDALORIAN (4) – BASELITZ (3)

the frame
11. YELLOW SAND – Three unplaced runs of late, 4th before that over 1800m in May. Looks
unlikely

has yet to get her head in front, she can make the frame if on song.

SELECTIONS
