In-form mare SIMLONG BEACH has struck career-best form and is on target for her fifth successive victory in the 1100m Class 4 contest at Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.

SIMLONG BEACH has not looked back since recording her maiden win at Penang back in March and if anything seems to be improving at each run.

The five-year-old dominated and dictated from the start in her most recent performance when leading throughout by 3.25 lengths here three weeks back on the inner track.

SIMLONG BEACH joined the Sharee Hamilton stables just over a year ago and took several runs to finally break through. The American bred should once again utilize her early pace and will prove hard to beat on the upgrade this weekend.

Berry Bliss rising through the ranks

Progressive performer BERRY BLISS should continue his ascendancy through the grades when he contests the 1300m Supreme B race at Kuala Lumpur this Saturday.

Berry Bliss is in fine form, working through the grades nicely.

BERRY BLISS will be aiming for the winning hat-trick following wins over 1200m and 1100m in similar grades recently. The four-year-old’s last win was arguably the best of his eight local victories, considering the opposition contained several Group One competitors in his narrow victory a month ago.

BERRY BLISS will be the highest rated horse in Sunday’s race and looks ideally handicapped to add to his impressive local record for trainer Charles Leck.
