1. VARENNA – Has won two claimers the latest over 2200m at Amiens on June 12th. Live chance
2. WHATLINGTON – Newcomer by Myboycharlie, can improve a good deal for this outing. Market
support should be noted
3. KALORIZIKI – 3rd four runs ago over 2100m at Marseille Borely in mid-April. Can not be ignored
4. SURPRIZE ME – 2nd two runs back over 2000m in a claimer in February, unplaced on the last
run in late June. Has work to do
5. CRACK CITY – 3rd at Cavaillon over 2200m last time on July 1st. Might find a few of these too
smart
6. WAT – 2nd two runs ago over 1850m at Hyeres in late May. Others seem better equipped
7. LINFASOMMER – Below par last time, but a good 3rd at Chantilly in March over 1600m. Player
8. ALMOST HEAVEN – Good 2nd over 2000m in the first run in a claimer last time on June 24th.
Can be competitive

Summary : LINFASOMMER (7) looks the best option, she was a bit below par when last seen at
Chantilly in May. She was a good third at Chantilly in March and will be fit for this after 2 months
away. VARENNA (1) has scored on both of her runs in claimers, the latest over 2200m almost a
month ago. She is the biggest danger. ALMOST HEAVEN (8) was second on her first run in a
claimer on the all-weather last time and should be involved. KALORIZIKI (3) is capable in this grade
of being in the mix.

SELECTIONS
LINFASOMMER (7) – VARENNA (1) – ALMOST HEAVEN (8) – KALORIZIKI (3)

R2 – PRIX DES BAUGES – 2500m (a1 9/16m) – TURF – Claiming – Flat – EUR € 12.000

1. KFE KREOL – 4th two runs ago, and won before that over 2400m at Vichy in May. Vulnerable
2. ROYAL POST OFFICE – Fair 3rd over 2400m at Lyon Parilly last time on June 10th. Can make
the frame
3. ROUGE – Won over 2100m at Pau in February, has been in better company of late. Can win on
a drop in class
4. PRETTY WARRIOR – 2nd two runs ago over 2400m at Vichy in mid-May. Will need to do a bit
more
5. RHEBOK – Unplaced last time, 2nd before that over 2400m on June 10th. Others rate higher
6. MITUMBA – 5th over 1800m last time at Marseille Borely on June 28th. Ought to be thereabouts
7. UNION SQUARE – Class drop after a few unplaced runs. Capable and was 2nd on debut over
2000m in January. Can have a say

Summary : ROUGE (3) is more than capable of winning at the claimer level, she won at Pau in
February in a better class of race and has run credibly in better races twice since that success.
UNION SQUARE (7) has her first run in a claimer as well and after a promising first run when
second at Chantilly, her form has regressed. She is capable and if in the mood can make her rivals
work hard. ROYAL POST OFFICE (2) rarely runs a bad race at this level and can once again make
an impression. MITUMBA (6) makes up the shortlist.

SELECTIONS
ROUGE (3) – UNION SQUARE (7) – ROYAL POST OFFICE (2) – MITUMBA (6)

R3 – PRIX DES AMETHYSTES – 1200m (a6f) – TURF – Claiming – Flat – EUR € 12.500

consideration

following up

higher
4. BOMBEY – Fair 4th two runs ago over 1200m at Marseille Borely in early May. In the mix

Key player
6. MUCHAS GRACIAS – 3rd at Salon-De- Provence two runs ago over 1100m in late June. Has
work to do to feature
7. RUM TUM TUGGER – 3rd the last two runs in claiming races, the latter over 1350m at Lyon
Parilly in mid-June. Can make the frame
8. SANTA VANILLA – Won over 1000m three runs back in mid-May at Vichy. Has outside place
claims
9. SKADOOSH – Newcomer by Birchwood, the dam was placed. Stable runners tend to need a
run. Any market moves should be noted
10. SECRET CHOPE – Newcomer by Born To Sea, the dam was a maiden. Can be expected to
need this experience, market support should be monitored

Summary : ENMARIE FAL (2) can follow up on a win at Dieppe last month and looks like the one
to be with. I WANNA BE LIKEYOU (5) drops to a claimer on his third start, he was a shade below
par last time but showed plenty when third on his debut. He can be involved at the business end.
BOMBEY (4) is also a class dropper, he was a decent fourth two starts ago over 1200m, and is
one to take seriously. RUM TUM TUGGER (7) looks best of the rest.

SELECTIONS
ENMARIE FAL (2) – I WANNA BE LIKEYOU (5) – BOMBEY (4) – RUM TUM TUGGER (7)

R4 – PRIX J. ET J. RINCK – 1200m (a6f) – TURF – Handicap Claiming – Class 4 – Flat – EUR € 12.000

1. ARCO GRANDE – Won three runs ago over 1200m at Marseille Borely in early May. Hard to
ignore
2. HYBRID – Has four unplaced runs, but won before that over 1600m at Chantilly in early March.
Is dangerous to rule out
3. HAPPY DREAM – Unplaced last time, 4th before that over 1350m in May. Others seem better
equipped
4. HOLLY STORY – Won three runs ago at Strasbourg over 1400m in early May. Needs more but
can place at nice odds
5. I DARE – Several unplaced runs since winning over 1200m at Nimes in February. Out of form
and best watched
6. MUGUETTE GIRL – Three unplaced runs of late, 4th before that over 1100m in early April.
Others rate higher
7. LA VENELLOISE – Nice 2nd over 1500m on the last run on June 24th on the all-weather surface.
Player
8. HYGROVE LASS – 3rd over 1500m when last seen in June, 1L behind LA VENELLOISE (7)
who was second. Live chance
9. COIMBRA – Fair 4th over 1500m on the last run in late June. Consider from an each-way
perspective
10. FEEL THE FEVER – 4th over 1100m on the last run on May 29th. Has an outside place chance
11. LAWRENCE – Fair effort when 4th at Saint-Cloud last time over 1400m in late June. Ought to
be in the shake-up
12. EXPLORAR – Has been out of form for some time, and won over 1200m in November.
Avoidable

Summary : LA VENELLOISE (7) has been consistently placed recently and looks ready to get
back in the winner’s enclosure. HYGROVE LASS (8) could be the main threat, she was only 1L
behind in third when they both met over 1500m in late June. ARCO GRANDE (1) won three runs
ago over 1200m and is worth considering from an each-way perspective. HYBRID (2) has been
out of form since scoring at Chantilly in March. He is capable off his current handicap mark of being
involved in the business end.

SELECTIONS
LA VENELLOISE (7) – HYGROVE LASS (8) – ARCO GRANDE (1) – HYBRID (2)

R5 – PRIX DU MONT REVARD – 2500m (a1 9/16m) – TURF – Condition Race – Class 3 – Flat – EUR € 15.000

1. HELIOPOLIS – Has been unplaced the last four runs, but is talented enough to be very
competitive off this rating, 3rd over 2500m in February. Player
2. HOLLYWOOD AFRICANS – Unplaced over 2000m on the last run in February. Return run might
be needed after an absence
3. WANATA – Unplaced last time, 3rd before that over 2800m at Compiegne on June 2nd. Likely
to be a threat
4. HELLO CHARLY – Numerous unplaced runs of late, won over 1500m in January. Others seem
in better shape
5. ZILYA – Has three unplaced runs, but won before that over 2150m at Lyon La Soie in February.
In the mix
6. LE SCORP – 2nd two runs ago over 3000m at Dieppe in June 2022. Return from a long layoff
but can make the frame
7. OLYMPIC MASTER – Newcomer by Olympic Glory, the dam was unraced. Should be better for
this run. Market support should be noted
8. CHONATA – Four unplaced runs, 4th before that over 1700m in April. Has work to do to feature

Summary : HELIOPOLIS (1) is capable of winning off her current rating, she has been a bit below
par recently although a fair effort at Strasbourg two starts ago when sixth. She is the tentative
selection. ZILYA (5) will try to make life difficult, she last won in February on the PSF and has been
a bit disappointing since that success, she can get back to form and have a say. WANATA (3) is
one for the place backers with the eight runners, she can make her presence felt. LE SCORP (6)
has been off the track for a year but is capable and will be involved.

SELECTIONS
HELIOPOLIS (1) – ZILYA (5) – WANATA (3) – LE SCORP (6)

R6 – PRIX DU DOMAINE DE FOUILLEUSE – 3100m (a1 15/16m) – TURF – Divised Handicap – Class 3 – Flat – EUR € 23.000

1. MONSIEUR GEORGE – Consistent sort who finished his race off well at Compiègne (3rd) last
time. Has leading claims
2. BLACKJAC DU HOULEY – Has bounced back to form and consistency recently. Looks the one
to be with under Stéphane Pasquier
3. PHILIPPE’S GREY – Finished 2nd four starts back but has regressed with each start since.
Others are preferred
4. AMANDERO – Hold-up type who could have more to offer over this trip given his running style.
Could repeat
5. RUSSIAN TWIST – Winner of his last three starts but has more to do now back in a handicap off
a higher mark
6. LIBRE – Won off a lower mark two starts back but struggled under a penalty last time. Must
reaffirm
7. ICI VINDECY – Has looked distinctly ordinary for some time now so her chances are limited even
at this level
8. MY KALISSY – Finished a pleasing 5th back on the flat last time and could improve to have a
say. Respected
9. MAC LA TAMBOUILLE – Out of sorts this year and his struggles are likely to continue. Unlikely
to trouble the judge
10. MONTE CINTO – Ultra-consistent performer who finished 2nd in his only outing at Saint-Cloud.
High on the shortlist
11. GOLDY MAKER – Nothing noteworthy to her name for a considerable period now so can be
ruled out. Overlook
12. MONFRERE – Undeniably capable but continues to blow hot and cold. Hard to trust but is hard
to rule out
13. WELL DE VINDECY – Has rediscovered her form and consistency, so warrants respect here.
Dangerous to dismiss
14. BOORGA – Has maintained a good level of form this year and finished 4th last time. Chance
on that form

Summary : Both BLACKJAC DU HOULEY (2) and MONTE CINTO (10) should have a say in the
finish. They finished close to each other at ParisLongchamp recently but the former fared slightly
better on that occasion so gets the nod here. MR. GEORGE (1) is distance suited and capable of
joining that fight for victory. Last-start winner AMANDERO (4) ought to make his presence felt if
confirming that form/improvement. MY KALISSY (8) next.

SELECTIONS
BLACKJAC DU HOULEY (2) – MONTE CINTO (10) – MONSIEUR GEORGE (1) –
AMANDERO (4)

R7 – PRIX DE SAINT-JEAN-LIGOURE – 1400m (a7f) – TURF – Handicap – Flat – EUR € 40.000

1. CAMBRONNE – Unplaced (9th) at a higher level last time but was in good form prior to that.
Must not be taken lightly
2. EMPATHIC – Consistent for the most part and is seldom far off the mark. Can have a say again
despite his wide gate
3. ALCANOR – Capable of better than his recent form suggests and should’ve finished closer last
time. Could make amends
4. ROYAL SHAKE – Improving last-start winner who looks well placed on the scale of values.
Should have a say in the finish
5. BOOK OF LIFE – Unreliable sort but is not incapable of staking a claim in a race of this nature.
Has a place chance
6. VINTAGE KOD – Consistent for the most part and arrives here in good form but is probably more
effective on the PSF. Outsider
7. SAHARA SPRING – Caught the eye after a slow start last time (4th) and is likely to be competitive
here. Dark horse
8. BEHATI – Winner over course and distance two starts back before struggling over 1600m last
time. Can do better back over this trip
9. FAIAL – Undeniably capable but has gone off the boil recently so needs to reaffirm. Best watched
for now
10. BIG LOG – Made an encouraging return to the handicaps and should have a say here if
confirming that form. Respect
11. EXUBERANCE – Lightly raced filly with good form figures. Has more to do in this
grade/company but is open to improvement
12. OLYMPIC MESSAGE – Has run two encouraging comeback races but needs to raise his game
to be competitive here. Outsider

Summary : This handicap is of good quality and is quite open. However, it could pay to follow the
progress of ROYAL SHAKE (4), a newcomer to this category, who looks capable of repeating last
month’s success at this track. ALCANOR (3) has the means to serve it up to the selection and fight
for victory too. Supplemented for this event, SAHARA SPRING (7) is likely to make her presence
felt. BIG LOG (10) has good acceleration and can also get into the picture.

SELECTIONS
ROYAL SHAKE (4) – ALCANOR (3) – SAHARA SPRING (7) – BIG LOG (10)
