3. GIANNIS UGO – Unplaced on only run so far over 2000m at Saint-Cloud in early May. Has work
to do
4. THAT’S MY POWER – Fair 2nd over 2500m in a claimer at Argentan on the last run on June 7th.

Summary : This claimer could well be between HAVOC (1) who was a good third two starts ago
over 2000m at Lyon Parilly and NO MORE BOLERO (5) who won on his last outing over 2500m in
late April. A slight preference is for the former. MOONFLIGHT (6) will not make it easy for the two
already mentioned as he is only slightly worse off due to his claim price. He put in a fair effort when
2nd at Strasbourg three runs ago over 3000m. BLUE SWAN (2) is back on the flat after two runs
over hurdles and warrants respect.

Summary : Some nicely bred colts and geldings line up for this, all unraced. LUC SUR MER (1)
will be well-tuned for his debut and could be good enough to get off to a winning start. SAN FELIPE
(8) a gelded son of Anodin is from a top yard and can ready a newcomer. He could be the main
rival and should be watched closely in the betting market. GALIUS (5) should give a good account
on his first day at school as should VERT GALAND (4) who looks good on paper and the yard
runners warrant respect.

3. SOIGNOLLES – Newcomer by The Grey Gatsby, should be much better for this opening run.

11. CRASY DAY – Newcomer by Barastraight, the dam won jumping. Nice debut run anticipated.

12. ALTESSEROYALETAVEL – Filly by Bathyrhon, should be much better for this debut run. Any

14. QASIDA – Filly by Nathaniel, a leading yard can make the frame on the opening race. Market

Summary : BELLBIRD (9 )has plenty to like on paper and a winning debut by the Fabre newcomer
can be expected, her dam was a top-class performer, winning the Prix Royal-Oak (Group 1) when
trained by Fabre. ERIU (15) has a choice pedigree and could be will be well-tuned for a debut, she
can play a lead role under Maxime Guyon. ROSHDIYA (1) has a nice profile and should be watched
closely in the betting, her trainer has plenty of winners on debut. CRASY DAY (11) warrants respect
on her opening run, her dam won twice, both races over jumps, so she may need further in time.

4. GANASS – 5th over 1300m at Saint-Cloud when last racing in mid-June. Others seem better
equipped
5. PURPLE MOOD – Newcomer by Sommerbend, the dam was placed. Can feature on debut,
stable runners are usually well-educated. Market needs monitoring
6. BAILEYS VITESSE – Unraced colt by Supplicant, the dam won. Yard runners usually come
forward for an outing. Market best guide for clues
Summary : English raider SILVER SPIRIT (2) gets a marginal vote after a fourth-placed run at
Leicester (UK) when last seen on June 17th. The second that day has since won, so the race was
quite useful. CLAVUS (1) can improve a good deal from an encouraging debut over 1200m in May.
The winner that day has scored again since, by a wide margin. UNE PEINTURE (3) has also had
the one run so far and will likely be vying for a place position. PURPLE MOOD (5) looks good on
paper and should be watched closely for any market support.

5. ETERNEL’S BEAUTE – 4th in the same race SHIFFRIN (6) was 2nd in at Saint-Cloud in late
June over 1400m. Can improve for that and is a live danger
6. SHIFFRIN – Good 2nd over 1400m at Saint-Cloud on the last run on June 23rd. Sets the standard
7. MARA WOOD – Two 5th placed runs so far, the latest over 1400m at Nantes in early June.

8. FASNY – Did well when 2nd over 1350m at Senonnes on the last outing. Can not be overlooked
9. LADY OF NABEUL – Unplaced on only run over 1400m on June 6th at Saint-Cloud. Will know
more this time and can be on the premises
10. RUMPLETEAZER – Ran 4th over 1300m at Saint-Cloud on June 14th on the last outing. Can
make presence felt
11. URBAN CHOPE – Did not feature on only run over 1400m at Strasbourg in mid-June. Has work
to do to have a say
12. M’ENTENTU – Newcomer by Attendu, the dam never ran. Respected stable, market support
should be monitored
Summary : SHIFFRIN (6) ran a very good second at Saint-Cloud over 1400m on June 23rd and
should be good enough to win this, she will likely have most to fear from ETERNEL’S BEAUTE (5)
who was fourth in the same race at Saint-Cloud. That was her debut, and with normal improvement
expected, she should make the selection work hard for success. RUMPLETEAZER (10) is one to
include in place bet permutations, she has experience and looks sure to make the frame at worst.
FASNY (8) looks the best of the remainder.

3. MIXED MIND – Looking for his 10th win, caught the eye last time when 3rd at La Gacilly over
2250m. Include in all bets despite being an outsider
4. SOARING EAGLE – Finished 4th at Chantilly three runs back and 6th at Argentan over 2100m
in his last start. Should run well and must be respected
5. MOUDIR – Looking for the 10th career win, fair 5th last time over 2100m at Chantilly in June and
could be some value
6. CHUBASCO – Has fair recent form and must be taken seriously. His last run was at Craon over
1650m finishing 7th. He can build on that. Chance
7. HEAVENLY VISION – Has not won the maiden yet and would be a surprise winner. Happy to
dismiss his chances
8. MEANDRO – Holding form, finished 3rd last time at Morlaix over 1800m and must be taken
seriously. Each way claims
9. CATALINA – She cannot be fancied on current form and should find it tough to threaten here
10. HEY MAN – Has won many races, last win was at Senonnes over 1350m and is one for the
shortlist. Bright chance
11. ALBERT BRIDGE – Needs to find a lot more on recent form and can be passed by
Summary : TRIMLIGHT (2) has consistent Handicap form and rates the one to be with.
CHUBASCO (6) can do better than his recent form suggests and should make his presence felt at
the finish. APOLLON (1) has done fairly since coming to France and should be right there. Expect
a first four effort from him. HEY MAN (10) was a winner four races back and is one for the shortlist.
