1. SALAHUDIN – Consistent and in good form. Finished a close-up 2nd last time and seems
capable of winning again
2. GOLIATH – Open to any amount of improvement after winning on debut over 2400m at SaintCloud. Keep safe
3. GUET APENS – Out of sorts at a higher level since resuming this year. Could do better in this
grade/company
4. ZARWARA – Warrants the utmost respect after a winning introduction over this trip at SaintCloud. Chief threat
5. DAFNE – Has improved with every outing but will need to raise her game again to have a say
here. Outsider
6. HELLES – Confirmed the improvement of her previous outing by winning last time out. Could
have a say here
7. GUETTA – Winner on debut and is likely to have gained plenty from that experience. Can get
into the picture

Summary : SALAHUDIN (1) has been in terrific form, winning once and finishing 2nd twice in three
starts this year. He was only just beaten last time but ought to recapture the winning thread here.
Francis Graffard’s runners ZARWARA (4) and GOLIATH (2) are open to improvement after winning
introductions at Saint-Cloud and are likely to pose a threat. GUET APENS (3) has the form and
experience to also make his presence felt.

4. VESINABA – Confirmed in this category and bounced back to form by finishing 3rd last time out.

5. ALMANARAH – Inconsistent but capable filly. Disappointing last time but has the means to play
a leading role
6. INSTANTANE – Has looked distinctly ordinary for some time now, so his chances are limited
even at this level
7. LIMONCELLA – Has improved with each start this year and returned to form when 2nd last time.

8. COME SAY HI – Has struggled to regain any form or consistency for some time now, so unlikely
to trouble the judge
9. ABASTO – Has lost his way recently but is not incapable of faring better in this grade/company.

10. STORMY AIR – Honest veteran holding form. Finished a pleasing 4th on his comeback and
may have more to offer

Summary : INATTENDU (2) won well at this level last time and is more than capable of following
up here. ALMANARAH (5) fluffed her lines recently but is better than that effort suggests and cannot
be written off just yet. LIMONCELLA (7) confirmed the improvement she has made this year by
finishing 2nd last time out and has legitimate claims too on her return to Clairefontaine. Confirmed
in claiming races, VESINABA (4) is another who could get into the picture.

Summary : In this race reserved for newcomers, preference is for Andre Fabre-trained
LOUGHCREW (4), who is the half-brother to useful Océan. Well-related LOVEATFIRSTSIGHT (5)
has an attractive pedigree too, so is another high on the shortlist, as is RIDPOUR (1) given his
rider’s 2,5kg allowance. JADE VINE (8) and STORY TO TELL (11) are also dangerous to dismiss.

Summary : Not an easy race to assess but a chance can be taken on MON SIOUX (7) given he
offers more guarantees than most. In good shape and competitive at this value, he ought to play a
leading role. KANELLE BERE (5) is capable of posing a threat off his current mark back in a
handicap, while OCTOBER CHOPE (6) could also make her presence felt despite a wide starting
berth. SURICATE (10) and GREATEL (1) are inconsistent but have the means to have a say too.

his two starts and ought to improve for this step up in distance, so can stake a claim too.

in this category. GRAND KISS (6) has improved of late and has the credentials to make her
presence felt too, as does ZARQANA (12) after an improved recent outing.
