before that. Player
2. ST BRIAC – Unplaced over 900m on the only run at this venue on April 14th. Others preferred
3. HAUTE GAMME – Unplaced on only run so far over 1200m at this venue in late May. Unlikely

the premises
5. CHAPUZA – Ran 4th over 1000m on the last run in a claimer on May 17th. Others make more
sense
6. GOLDENA – 4th over 1300m at this track on May 16th in a claimer. Needs more to beat some
of these
7. CHINCHA ALTA – Shaped with promise on both of her starts in better company, the latter over
1350m on June 3rd. Drop in class gives plenty of hope
8. LAMAJESTIK – Won a claimer on the last outing over 1400m at Compiegne on June 2nd. Can
make the frame
9. PICOLA – Unplaced in a Class 2 race on the last run over 1100m at Tarbes in mid-June. More
needed to win

Summary : BAHIA BLANCA (1) ran a good race at Nantes last time when third and won at this
track before that over 1300m in mid-May, she has strong claims to win again. CHINCHA ALTA (7)
has shown enough in two runs to suggest that a win in this type of event is likely, she ought to be
involved in the finish. NE ME QUITTE PAS (4) drops in class and can have a say at the business
end of the race. LAMAJESTIK (8) has already won at claiming level on her most recent outing and
warrants respect.

SELECTIONS
BAHIA BLANCA (1) – CHINCHA ALTA (7) – NE ME QUITTE PAS (4) – LAMAJESTIK (8)

1. DOCTOR HOUSE – A gelding by Doctor Dino, the dam was unplaced. Market best guide for
clues

good with horses making their debut. Ought to be involved
3. LOVE IS GOLD – Colt on debut by Havana Gold, the dam was unraced. Any market support
should guide expected performance, but can have a say
4. ZUZUKEL – Newcomer by Frankel, the dam was unraced. Market support should be monitored
closely
5. COASTAL DREAM – Newcomer by Kingman, the dam was a top-class performer in USA winning
at Grade 1 level. Can win on debut
6. AMERA – Newcomer by No Nay Never, the dam was a winner. From the Graffard stable, should
be watched closely in the betting market for clues
7. KEEP AHEAD CLERMON – Filly by Great Pretender, the dam was a winner over hurdles and
fences. Might find a few too smart and need this run for experience
8. CORUNNA – Filly on debut by The Grey Gatsby, the dam was unraced. May benefit from opening
race, the market should be watched closely
9. LET’S GET LOUD – Daughter of Outstrip, the dam won. Can give a good account on debut, any
market support should be noted
10. MIGNONNE DES PINS – Filly on debut by Zarak, the dam was placed. Might need today’s race.
Any market support should be noted

Summary : COASTAL DREAM (5) is from a good yard with a very taking profile. Her dam was a
top-class filly who won at Grade 1 level in the USA and Canada, she can make a winning debut.
PRESAGE NOCTURNE (2) will be well-tuned by the Botti team for his opening race and could
pose the main danger. AMERA (6) from a powerful stable and should be respected on its debut
run. The son of Frankel, ZUZUKEL (4) could be the best of the remainder.

SELECTIONS
COASTAL DREAM (5) – PRESAGE NOCTURNE (2) – AMERA (6) – ZUZUKEL (4)

best guide on debut
6. GAME ON – Has placed form in claiming races, the best was when 3rd at this track over 1600m

competitive

4th. Needs more to figure
10. GREY LUX – Ran with promise on only run over 2000m on June 2nd. Can win on drop-in class

on what has been shown so far

watched for now
13. THESSALONIKI – Out of the frame on both runs, the latter over 1700m on May 28th at
Granville. Hard to fancy

Summary : GREY LUX (10) shaped well on his only run so far over 2000m earlier this month at
Compiegne and the drop to a claimer makes him the logical selection. FILLE DU ROI (1) won at
this track when last racing over 1500m in mid-May and should once again have a say in
proceedings. GRAND FETARD (2) is consistent in claiming races and should give another good
account of himself. SHAKSTAR FAL (4) rarely runs a bad race when contesting claiming races and
should feature.

SELECTIONS
GREY LUX (10) – FILLE DU ROI (1) – GRAND FETARD (2) – SHAKSTAR FAL (4)

in late April. Might find a few too smart
6. SIRIUS SLEW – Won at Chantilly on the last start over 1200m on June 4th. Can place at nice
odds

from an absence
8. MR GOODNIGHT – Good 2nd two runs back over 1350m at Angers on May 11th. Leading
contender

1200m in early-May. Can give another good account
10. MAMMALINA – Has dropped in the ratings and was a fair 5th over 1500m two runs back in
April. Can not be discounted
11. TRUST AHEAD – Nice win on the last outing over 1400m at Compiegne on June 2nd. Others
seem better equipped

Summary : MR GOODNIGHT (8) was a bit below par on his most recent run but can be forgiven
for that. He can get back to form here and is the selection. CHOP VAL (1) has been very consistent
of late and could well be the biggest threat. DROIT DE PAROLE (9) has been in good form, winning
twice and fourth on his latest outing. He is among the top chances. MAMMALINA (10) has not been
the most consistent of late but is capable of making an impact when running in this grade of race.

SELECTIONS

Needs to get back on track
11. OLYMPIC MESSAGE – Fair 4th on the last run over May 15th over 1600m. Needs more in a
well-contested race

Summary : EVERYTHING COUNTS (5) has been running in good company on his latest two runs,
and has performed credibly on both runs since winning at Deauville on debut. He can win on his
first run in handicap company. WILLIAM TELL (1) has plenty of talent and the Fabre trained horse
ran well when last seen. He is trying a handicap for the second time after a decent third on his most
recent run. He is not totally straightforward but is more than capable of having a say in the finish.
CONSORT ROYAL (7) drops in grade from a Listed race and can make the frame. SOSINO (2) is
another that needs careful consideration.

SELECTIONS

racing in late April. He gets the marginal vote ahead of VIRTUAL ROCK (1) who arrives full of
confidence after winning a Listed race on his last outing over 2400m in mid-April. He poses the
biggest threat. FASOL (9) has plenty of ability and should once again be involved at the finish after
a recent win at Angers. SKAZINO (6) can never be discounted and is expected to strip much fitter
for a recent run.
