Selections
KALEOSUN (7) – KATAKANA (10) – KING D’ANJOU (6) – KARLA VIVA (8)

Race 2 – PRIX CANTAL-DUPART – 2900m . Purse EUR €12,500.
1. INGRANDES – Opened this campaign impressively last time out with a win over 2950m at Machecoul. Has won second up in the past and is capable of building on that record.
2. INSOLITE KANDIDATE – Has not raced since finishing 8 lengths away in fifth over 2600m at Plouescat on August 21. Can return with a bold run.
3. IMPERIAL MAZEROY – Made little impression on debut over 2950m Machecoul when 11th, beaten 34
lengths. Favouring others.
4. IMPERIO – Didn’t do a bad job last start when fifth on debut over 3000m at Angers. Promising five-year-old gelding who can take this out.
5. JAZZOU – Returns from a spell after finishing tenth at his last appearance over 2400m at Saint Brieuc on November 11. Can kick off with a big run.
6. JE L INTERDIT – Returns from a spell after finishing sixth at his last appearance over 2400m at Craon on December 4. Can kick off with a big run.
7. JEANNE PRINCESS – Easily beaten at her last run before spelling and didn’t fare any better when resuming over 2950m at Machecoul a week-and-a-half ago, beaten 63 lengths into eighth. Can’t see her turning things around.
8. IZA DE MAEL – Last appeared 11 months ago when she finished 60 lengths from the winner in tenth over 2400m at Fougeres.
9. JOUVENCIA – Has not raced since finishing 23 lengths away in seventh over 2300m at Durtal on November 1. Expect a bold showing.
10. JUGGLE ON – Finished seventh on debut over 2300m at Corlay on July 10 and has not been produced since. Open to plenty of improvement.
11. JOKER DU LYS – Son of Nicaron from Verone Du Lys making his debut. Worth watching for a market push.
12. JAKTIGARRY – Unraced gelding by Ballingarry out of Bhakti De Larredya. Was a EUR 19,000 (Arqana 2019 Breeding Stock Sale) purchase. No surprise if he measured up.
13. JOLIE DU LYS – Daughter of Nicaron from Pot Jolie making her debut. Wait and see how she presents.
14. JESCA CITY – Unraced filly by Manduro out of Resca City. Might need this run.

Summary: INGRANDES (1) won by a nose over 2950m at Machecoul. Selected to complete a double with the runner-up that day scoring since. IMPERIO (4) rates highly on the back of a 3.25L fifth in a 3000m contest at Angers. JE L INTERDIT (6) gets a chance to shine having finished 12L sixth in a 2400m Craon contest that’s working out well in December. JUGGLE ON (10) is expected to show improvement following a 10L seventh tackling 2300m when debuting at Corlay.

Selections
INGRANDES (1) – IMPERIO (4) – JE L INTERDIT (6) – JUGGLE ON (10)

Race 3 – PRIX ANDRE DU BOISPEAN – HANDICAP CHALLENGE – 2900m HCP CL3. Purse EUR €19,000.
1. LE HOYO – Went down by just 0.6 lengths when third at Chantilly All Weather over 3200m last time out. Winning chance.
2. AND WE DANCED – Finding it hard to break through, finishing seventh last time out over 3100m at SaintCloud. Must improve to play a role.
3. YEMASKA – Last start scored a rare win over 2400m at Saint Brieuc. Has recorded just 2 victories from 20 starts. Has ability and is a top-three hope.
4. LE PETIT GEGENE – Good effort last start when he finished a close second at Pornichet over 3100m.
Expected to feature.
5. MONSIEUR GEORGE – Raced below his best last time when seventh over 2400m at Pornichet, beaten 4 lengths. Worth another chance.
6. BLACKJAC DU HOULEY – Was below his best two back at Deauville All Weather then ran a much better race last start when third over 2700m at Chantilly All Weather. Don’t underestimate.
7. ANGELO DREAM – Wasn’t expected to do much when fresh from a spell last start at Pornichet over 2400m and wound up in eighth, beaten 9 lengths. That run was a bit plain so prefer him later on.
8. GOLDY MAKER – Disappointing end to a good campaign at the latest appearance when ninth at Craon back on September 24. Others preferred.
9. FATALISME – Did a good job last start to finish just 0.8 lengths away in second at his first run back over 3100m at Pornichet. Fitter and is sure to be prominent.

Summary: LE HOYO (1) placed third when beaten 0.5L in a 3200m handicap at Chantilly AW. Selected to deliver a victory with a good amateur up. FATALISME (9) registered a 0.75L second in a 3100m handicap at Pornichet. Looks capable of challenging for the win. LE PETIT GEGENE (4) holds claims on the back of a neck second tackling 3100m at Pornichet. YEMASKA (3) won by 2.5L in a 2400m handicap at Saint-Brieuc. Dangerous in this field.

Selections
LE HOYO (1) – FATALISME (9) – LE PETIT GEGENE (4) – YEMASKA (3)

Race 4 – PRIX ANIM’S PG (PRIX DU MUSEE DE NANTES) – 1350m CLM. Purse EUR €10,000.
1. MASTER GEORGES – Unraced gelding by George Vancouver out of Lakena. Was a EUR 3,000 (Arqana 2021 November Yearling Sale) purchase. Will be better for the run.
2. BOLSUREY FAL – Last appeared when he finished third over 1700m at Pornichet on February 7.
Progressing well and a win is on the cards.
3. KHARKIV – Last appeared when he finished ninth over 1600m at Chantilly All Weather on March 1. Capable of a better run.
4. IMANA – Resumes after a break of four months. Nice run on debut then failed to threaten when 16th over 1300m at Deauville All Weather at the last outing prior to a spell. Must be respected.
5. CAPELENA – Back from a break of three-and-a-half months. Closed the last campaign in lukewarm fashion, with a 11th over 1600m at Pau All Weather the latest offering. Doubt she will have much to offer first up.
6. FIRST LADY TIME – Last appeared six-and-a-half months ago when she finished 17 lengths from the
winner in eighth over 1700m at Marseille-Borely. Expected to run well.
7. LOVER WITH A G – Yet to finish in the placings from nine career runs. Back from a spell last start and finished seventh over 1600m at Saint-Cloud. Safely held.
8. SHAULAA – Could only manage seventh over 1600m at Chantilly All Weather last start to continue a run of ordinary form. Expect a better showing this time around.
9. LA CHIP – Last appeared 11 weeks ago when she finished 14 lengths from the winner in ninth over 1700m at Pornichet. Expect she will go well now.

Summary: FIRST LADY TIME (6) showed good form in a couple of 1400m contests last year. Supplemented for this and looks up to breaking her maiden on seasonal debut. BOLSUREY FAL (2) enters calculations following a 1.5L third in a 1700m handicap at Pornichet. KHARKIV (3) placed second when beaten a neck in a 1650m maiden at Machecoul on his penultimate start. Shortlisted. LA CHIP (9) is considered switched to turf following a 14L ninth in a 1700m AW handicap at Pornichet.

Selections
FIRST LADY TIME (6) – BOLSUREY FAL (2) – KHARKIV (3) – LA CHIP (9)
