Race Summary: Decent race to start. It’s never easy to win coming from off the pace on the poly but AERIAL DISPLAY did that on his poly debut. He has drawn gate one and could complete a hat-trick. However, SUNDAY ISLAND is best weighted in this Conditional Graduation and he may come on nicely after needing his last run over 2400m. He did win a nice race here a few runs back. FAMOUS AND RICH ran in some of the best races in the Western Cape but is probably best here on the poly. He needs to be taken seriously. PARIS PIKE disappointed a tad last time. He does have some ability.

Race Summary: Nothing really stands out and the betting could be a good guide as to who is doing best at home. ZABADAK ran a fair race on the poly first time and is set to improve. He should relish the longer distance. RAFIKI eventually settled in his first try over 1600m on the turf last time. He didn’t run badly and could go better on the poly over the distance. UNCLE LUCKY is holding form and this may be the right race for him. A relatively wide gate appears the only negative. CASH SLIP and DOIN’ TIME are unexposed and could show more having had a few runs to learn the trade.

Race Summary: ICE KINGDOM won a nice race when tried over ground two starts back and ran well even though over-racing last time out. But IBUTHO was only 2,40-lengths behind him when the former won and is now 3,5kg better off at the weights. The former has drawn better so it could get close. Nice race. See how Famous And Rich does in Race 1 before making a decision on DOWSER. He is also returning from the Cape and has impressed on the poly before. He appears a lot better than his turf form. TOM’S ACT and CAESURA are holding form and know how to turn it on when racing on the poly – watch.

Race Summary: Raiding trainer Clint Binda holds a very strong hand. FISH EAGLE looked dangerous in his last start and after finishing runner-up twice looks ready to win. He may also enjoy the poly. Stablemate DONTSHOOTTHEBARMAN made good improvement in his last start and being a son of Visionaire should enjoy the surface. He has leading rider Keagan De Melo to boot. VARIETY FAIR has run two good races in a row and has run well on the poly. She should be right there. ONE IRISH ROVER was second to a well-backed newcomer last time and needs to be watched.

Race Summary: OUR EMILY has won two on the trot. Interestingly, two horses that finished just behind her, Diamond Girl and Looking Hot have come out to win ultra competitive contests straight after. She can complete a hat trick for Rachel Venniker. Watch out for recent maiden winner FORT J’ADORE who won well enough to suggest she has more to come. However she is dropping in distance and may sharpen up after this run. VISION OF WILL should be a big threat. She was gaining nicely and only beaten a head by OUR EMILY and is a full 6kg better off at the weights. PERFECT APPEAL has draw one and must be right there.

Race Summary: On best form HALLERBOS would have the beating of his main protagonists at the weights. He has drawn better and a set of blinkers could boost his chances. GET CARTER has also battled bad draws for a while and having finished ahead of HALLERBOS the last time they met could confirm and add another win to his tally. BLESS ME FRED is knocking hard and his formlines have been working very well, but he has to overcome the widest gate this time. BUSTER KEATON’s maiden win has been working out extremely well and he may be a lot better than his one poly run. LESLIES PATHTOFAME can’t be ignored.

Race Summary: EAU DE VIE has worryingly shown little after a promising juvenile campaign, but she ran a much better race when trying the poly for the first time and is set to build on that. ROSE PRINCESS has drawn similarly well and also made good improvement on the poly last time. Both should be at their peak in their third starts after a rest. SHELL SEEKER has been disappointing and it’s hard to know what her best track and trip is. However, she obviously shows more at home and could come to hand one of these days. NOBLE STORM is another that has talent but she just needs to behave on the day.

Race Summary: HATTA won her last start asserting her authority and should turn in another bold performance even if taking on males this time. Another filly with ability, MISS LIALAH, didn’t get a good pace in her last race but still did well. She is now back over her best distance and could show her powerful turn of foot. VENGEANCE FOREVER has been doing duty for powerful yards upcountry but hasn’t come to the party. He may suddenly improve on the poly first time out. WORD FOR WORD has been jumping from bad draws and now has the best of them. IMMEASURABLE is another that is capable. More in it.
