Race Summary: CHELSEA BLUE was costly last time. She did try hard and having run three good races in a row can get it right. She is dropping in distance and a set of blinkers will be fitted. ANA NOBA needed her last run badly and should make good improvement. It was her first run after a very long time off the track and she was not disgraced taking on males in her comeback. NONOTI finished fastest at Hollywoodbets Scottsville and could build on that. MADAME ZABRE and TASTE MAKER should be right there on form shown.

Race Summary: SUPER FAST did a bit too much last time and also cast a shoe. He may prefer racing back over 1200m and from a good draw can open his account. After a rest RADICCHIO ran a much better race in his second outing and he should come on nicely. He is trying the turn for the first time but has been brought along steadily and should have every chance from gate No 1. PARIS RAIN raced with top KwaZulu-Natal colt See It Again on debut and caught the eye in both subsequent starts. He has drawn wide and will need to get into it quickly dropping in distance. More can improve.

Race Summary: STEALTH ATTACK has been a bit disappointing but the switch to turf could do the trick. She has had good luck with the barrier draw and must take advantage. DUCHESS OF GOLD is racing after a layoff and is dropping in distance but her formlines have worked out well and she could race fresh. SEA OF TEARS is the most overdue and has gone close at this venue. Another who should be right there is COUNTY KILDARE who ran on well in her only try at this track.

Race Summary: BEECHAMWOOD BOY was given a brilliant ride from Keagan de Melo and showed he could beat decent opposition. The handicapper thought so as well, penalising him 4.5kg, but he could have more to come. CAPTAIN ROCKET had things go wrong in his last start and that performance is best ignored. He has drawn ideally and looks a big threat for legendary trainer Dennis Drier who is soon retiring. CUPID’S SONG is holding form on the turf and could be on track to score his first win on the turf. LORD WYLIE and PASCALI appear a bit better than their recent efforts.

Race Summary: If PRINCEKRESH is back to his speedy best, he could finally get back to the winner’s enclosure. He ran a cracker on the poly last time and is well in at the weights. SABATINI is best in at the weights and has dropped in the ratings but needs to find best form. There wasn’t much to separate VALIENTE and RENAISSANCE MAN last time. The latter has drawn wide again but in overcoming his draw early he could dictate matters up front. DONQUERARI found one better in Beechamwood Boy who races just prior. It may pay to follow him should the latter follow up. STANLEY PARK needs to show consistency.

Race Summary: GRANDI ORRECHIE brings decent Western Cape form into the race. If she doesn’t just need it after a break could be the one to beat. APPROACHABLE LASS has run second in all three starts and would be deserving. She should have every chance if seeing out 1600m. JOLLIFICATION is relatively unexposed and could make the required progress. She wasn’t far off in her second outing and has drawn well. KITTYBOYS GIRL was beaten a nose last time and should be ready in her third start after a rest. But she will need a bit of luck having drawn a bit wide.

Race Summary: WICCAN WARRIOR is another returning from the Western Cape for Gareth Van Zyl. He ran with some of the best around and is the one to watch. CAMORA has won four out of his last five and on pedigree should be even better over this longer distance. A 2.5kg apprentice claim could offset his latest merit rating hike. ARTIC TUNE got going too late last time but gave signs that he could be ready for a fight. He has done well at this venue. AJ’S CAPTAIN was taken to the front and ran a much better race last time. CAPTAIN WHO is another who has the potential to earn a decent prize.

Race Summary: PAPA C did well with the saddle having slipped in his last start. He is holding form and should have every chance as he has won a race at this venue. But these 2400m marathons are all about timing. ROCK FALL has a good record at this track but needs to be produced at the right time. He has drawn well and could get the run of the race. TOM BOMBADIL also has a strong finish and if he gets a split at the right time could add another win to his tally. CYBER TIME has gone start to finish at this course and needs to be taken seriously as well. TWICE GOLDEN has yet to win at this course but is in hot form.
