Race Summary: AFRICAN FOLKLORE showed good pace to take second position on debut. She should know more about it now and can go one better. There are many first-timers and the betting market needs to be closely followed. LADY LACEWING, AFRICAN BEAT and CALI PRINCESS look to have speed in their pedigrees. ERROLS LEGACY wasn’t disgraced on debut finishing 1.10-lengths behind AFRICAN FOLKLORE and should make progress. SECRET WINX wasn’t far off her and had cast a shoe in that race. She could make big improvement.

Race Summary: SUPER FAST was costly last time but the drop to 1000m may have not worked in his favour. He is back over 1200m and can make amends. LAZY GUY would be deserving. He has run many a decent race without winning and did honest work from wide draws at Hollywoodbets Greyville in his last two. After running fair races at this venue in the past FUTURE OF ENERGY is back and could get into the fray. He seems capable and did have excuses in his last start. AXEL COLLINS has done best here but needs to find a bit more for the win. More can earn.

Race Summary: Fillies ROYAL OASIS and ALEEYAH’S UNICORN – with their sex allowance – are weighted to do well and on form should have every chance. But there are a few males with improvement to come. MASERATI ROAR ran a fair race after a rest and stripping fitter should have every chance. MAJESTIC REIGN has also been thereabouts. He has been gelded and could have more to offer – follow the betting closely. LUCKY DOLLAR looked dangerous last time and may be on the up. KASHKAVAL (gelded) and HOLLYWOOD STAR (had wide draws) can make the exotics pay.

Race Summary: AFRICAN DUSK looks well-placed. He was disappointing when beaten favourite from a good draw last time but has been given time off, has drawn well again and has a 2,5kg apprentice claim. It is a weak field and UNSOLVED RIDDLE may take advantage. He made progress from the back on debut and is bred to enjoy the longer. UNCLE LUCKY showed potential again last time and confirmed that he is not just a poly horse. He has drawn ideally and could be the dark horse. MIRACULOUS MAN has blinkers and FLAMING DRUM has Keagan De Melo – both could show.

Race Summary: There is a bit of quality in this one. LUCKY MISS found one better in her last three and would be deserving. She has dropped 1 point in merit ratings but it may be all that it takes. MARIA COROLINA is in good nick but it is interesting that she has been kept to racing at Hollywoodbets Greyville until now. She could be even better here. LET’S NOT LINGER has been most consistent this season and won a nice race on the poly last time. CONCHITA, SEA EAGLE and PALM BREEZE could make their presence felt under a light weight.

Race Summary: Good field for the Marula Sprint. CAPTAIN FONTANE has been costly to follow but it could be his day. He needed his last race and if anywhere near his best could be the one. Stablemate AFRICAN SKYLINE showed he can sprint with the best when a good second ahead of PEARL OF ASIA as well as ISHNANA and SPYDAS CORNER. He has run well here and should make a race of it. PEARL OF ASIA is holding form well and just needs the race run to suit. AQUA BOLT, PASSAGE OF POWER and PRAY FOR RAIN all rate value propositions.

Race Summary: SWEET SYMPHONY ran a creditable fourth in a competitive race amongst males and that could be the form line to be with. SABATINI was far behind her then but looks to have needed the run badly and is not one to take lightly. CALULO won for the first time on the poly and did it in style. She has drawn well but could have her work cut out at the weights. MAQUETTE is weighted to give these a run for their money especially at this venue. She is a course specialist but she is returning after a bit of a break. WARSHIP cannot be ignored on current form.

Race Summary: It could get close between CAMORA and CAVALIERI. The former beat the latter by 1.45-lengths last time but is 1kg worse off. CAVALIERI has also drawn a lot better and he could get back to winning ways. CAMORA is in the form of his life and will be looking to make it four from his last five. BEND THE RULES won a nice race but more importantly his form line has been working out quite well. He should be right there at the finish. MANHATTEN CAFE may prefer a bit further but he could be there at the right time if the abovementioned get into a fight too early in the race.
