Singapore racing fans will eagerly await the return of racing at Kranji, which is still approximately three weeks away, with the first of 48 meetings scheduled for Saturday, the 7th of January, 2023.
With the reinstatement of key feature races and the inclusion of crucial race series such as the Singapore Three-Year-Old Challenge, Four-Year-Old Challenge, Super Sprint Series, and Triple Crown Series, the forthcoming season looks the most exciting since 2019.
The first feature race of 2023 is scheduled for Saturday 4th of February with the staging of the $110,000 Merlion Trophy (G3) over 1200m on the Polytrack. The last time the feature race was run was in 2021, won by top mare CELAVI for trainer Michael Clements.
