Punters have been set a tough task to find winners at Durbanville on Tuesday but there are some promising horses carded to run and there may be four bets worth taking.

Rafeef’s Choice in Race 3 has a tricky draw No 8 for jockey Corne Orffer to overcome but with some of those drawn on his inside being newcomers and likely to be racing green he could try and get to the front early and make all.

Rafeef’s Choice has improved with each run and the step up to 1400m should suit.

The combination of Luyolo Mxothwa and Brett Crawford had a very good day last Tuesday and Red Impact could follow up on his maiden win to take out Race 5, a MR 74 Handicap over 1000m.

His No 4 draw should allow Red Impact to race handily, and he showed in his latest start that he can quicken nicely.

Soft going would boost his chances.

Jockey Richard Fourie needs to get his challenge for Champion Jockey on track and his ride in Race 7 aboard Triple Time could put a winner on the board for him.

The Twice Over colt was slowly away on debut when unplaced. He was a lot better in his next start when far too good for Sudden Star and a wide-margin winner.

The step up to 1600m should suit and from a good draw he could be the exotic banker we need for the day.

Stable companion Nevada King was five lengths adrift of Triple Time when they met and a good run for Triple Time in Race 7 could boost the form of Nevada King and he could be the right one in the last race.

Jockey Keegan de Melo continues to boot home the winners so a wide draw may not be able to stop them.
