Talented mare XENA looks set to continue her progression through the grades when she steps out in the 1300m Combined Class 2/3 event at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
XENA is coming off a fast finishing second behind the smart and unbeaten Awesome Storm over 1200 here on February 2. The five year old came from last at the 800m, going down by three lengths.
XENA possesses a quick turn of acceleration as displayed in her 1100m Metro A win here two starts back and is currently the third highest rated mare in the country. With a record of five wins from 19 starts, she will prove hard to beat despite the slight rise in weight.
