Trainer Justin Snaith must have been well pleased with the summer season so far and he had a very profitable Cape Winter Season with numerous feature-race winners, to go along with it.
He is also coming off a good weekend which started on Friday with some welcome winners at Fairview and did even better at Kenilworth on Saturday.
The winners at Fairview suggested his recent disappointments could be a thing of the past and he can have a couple more winners this Friday at Fairview.
Captain Tatters proved a disappointment last week when only fifth behind Spring Awakening and narrowly behind Al Qaasim.
That run suggested he ran well below his normal level of form, but in Race 5 Captain Tatters drops to a Graduation Plate and meets his rivals on very favourable terms.
If running to his normal level of form (consistently hitting the MR 100 level) he will prove hard to beat.
Snaith Racing also send down the filly Wildest Dreams to contest Race 2, a Maiden Plate over 1900m.
This filly is coming off her career best performance when runner-up behind Margin Call. The further Wildest Dreams goes the better she should get, and it will be a surprise were she not to go one better this time.
