The Singapore Racing fixtures have been fully released with 48 race meetings scheduled for the newly released racing calendar for the year 2022.
The first race meeting has been locked in for Sunday the 2nd of January with the final meeting set for Saturday 26th of November.
In a positive move to avoid clashing with the popular Hong Kong racing product, the Singapore Turf Club has wisely chosen to race on 32 Saturdays, 15 Sundays and one Wednesday for Chinese New Year (2nd of February)
Only eight (8) feature races remain on the 2022 calendar, with the $300,000 Raffles Cup (G1) and $110,000 Merlion Trophy (G3) cut from fixture, while the $1m Kranji Mile (G1) and $1m Singapore Gold Cup (G1)remain in May and November.
