RACE 8 [TF0466]
On Monday, 27 July 2020, Trainer M Walker advised that in his opinion SHOWBOUND (R Woodworth) was not suited racing on the synthetic surface under a big weight. He added that the horse had pulled up well and he would look to place the horse in a suitable turf race.
RACE 9 [TF0467]
On Monday, 27 July 2020, Trainer M Clements advised that in his opinion DRONE (App WH Kok) had pulled up well but was not suited by the fast early tempo of the event and he would now look to step the horse up in distance.
RACE 12 [TF0470]
On Monday, 27 July 2020, Trainer KY Young advised that in his opinion MY DREAMLINER (R Woodworth) was not suited by the fast early pace of the event and being obliged to race wide and as a result, the horse failed to run on. He added that the horse had pulled up well and he would continue with its current preparation.

Acting on veterinary advice that LIM’S FORCE had not been vaccinated in accordance with MRA Regulation 7.3, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 1144Hrs.
Trainer D Meagher was fined a sum of S$2,000 under MRA Regulation 20.6 by failing to ensure that the Vaccinations were current for LIM’S FORCE as required under MRA Regulation 20.1.
RACE 10 [TF0468]
Permission was granted for Jockey R Munger to replace Jockey V Duric on CHURCHILL as the latter was unable to make the weight.
Jockey Duric was subsequently fined a sum of S$300 in terms of MRA Rule 107(10).
RACE 11 [TF0469]
App T Krisna (pictured), the rider of OPTIMUM STAR, in the presence of Apprentice Jockey Coach, Mr Matthew Pumpa, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that near the 900m, he failed to make sufficient effort from preventing his mount from shifting inwards, when not clear of RED RIDING WOOD (App K Hakim), which had to be checked severely and forced in onto the hindquarters of POROSHIRI (M Lerner).
When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his poor riding record, guilty plea and the degree of interference and carelessness.
App Krisna was suspended from riding in races with effect from Monday, 27 July 2020 to Sunday, 16 August 2020 both dates inclusive (three Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal.

Permission was granted for Cross Nose Band to be added and Special Bit (Norton Bit) to be removed for ALTAIR .
However, Trainer M Walker was fined a sum of S$200 in terms of MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for failing to apply for a gear change by acceptance time.
