
In line with Ministry of Health’s (MOH) Advisory on “Tighter Measures to Minimise Further Spread of COVID-19 dated 24 March 2020”, the Singapore Turf Club (the Club) will be implementing the following stricter precautionary measures:
Closure of Singapore Racecourse on 26 March, Thursday
– The Singapore Racecourse will be closed to the public on 26 March, Thursday. There will be no screening of overseas simulcast races at the Racecourse.
Singapore race meetings
– Local races scheduled for Friday, 27 March 2020 will continue. However, members of public will not be admitted into the Singapore Racecourse.
– For the month of April 2020, the Club will reduce the frequency of local race day to only once a week. Members of public will not be admitted into the Singapore Racecourse. Details of the revised race schedule will be made available via the Club’s website.
Simulcast races
– There will not be screening of overseas simulcast races at the Singapore Racecourse from Friday, 27 March 2020.
We expect the above measures to be in place until 30 April 2020, in line with the MOH advisory dated 24 March 2020. The Club will continue to carefully evaluate and make necessary changes to our business operations in line with the prevailing advisories from MOH and other relevant agencies.
Customers can continue to view live-streaming of simulcast and local races on StarHub Channels 288 and 289. Singapore Pools Account Holders can continue to place their bets online and via telephone.
