Was backed off the map from $4.90 into the $2.50 favourite at this track and distance 14 days ago, however failed to muster early and subsequently raced wide throughout. Let down the second fastest only to be swamped late on the line for a neck beaten margin.
With better luck in running this week, he is the one to beat.
Race 6 -8 DESTIN
His last start fourth placing had good merit to it as the post-race veterinary report stated that he had been galloped on on the outside of its left hind heel. Sectionally, it was a sound run off a slow early speed, with most of his exertion occurring midrace.
Capable of winning in a race of this nature and keep safe.

Race 1 – 3 BLAZING PARTNERS
Cannot draw a barrier so has been getting back and running on in Class 4. Returned the fastest last section in his last start returning to Class 5, where his form in proven. Comes into barrier 6 this week.
Race 8 – 12 PICKEN
Contested a slowly run 1400m race last start, in which not much made ground, however his fastest last 400m in the race suggests plenty of merit to the performance and he can be followed this week.
