Race 4 – 7 MY WINNER

Was the victim of an ill-judged ride last start when afforded a low draw but settling rearward and riding for luck in the straight. Started to close off strongly when clear but found trouble inside the 100m and wasn’t properly tested, finishing 1 3/4 lengths into sixth.

Is racing well this season after a stable change, but needs a bit of luck on his side for a return to the winner’s circle.

Race 8 – 14 GRADE ONE

Had betting support last start but endured hard luck in running when held up in the straight, particularly from the 200m to passing the 100m. Once clear, dashed home 3 1/2 lengths into eighth and arguably should have finished closer with clear running.

Draws nicely in barrier 4 and should map well in an open race and shapes as an each-way chance at the bottom of the weights.

Race 1 – 13 SIMPLY FLUKE

s racing in good form with strong late sectionals, however shocking barrier draws — jumping no lower than stall 11 — have dictated his racing pattern at his past four starts. Edging close to a win but again draws wide and will race for luck.

Race 6 – 11 EVERYONE’S JOY

Overlook his last start over the mile when he endured an unruly trip and instead focus on his prior start over this distance when he dashed home the second fastest into third. Has trialled well in between runs and looks a key player.
