Sha Tin Track Spy, November 23

Race 3 Number 6 Moon Peaks

Performed well on debut despite encountering plenty of hard luck in the running. Held up from the 400m to the 300m, then raced in restricted room at the 100m then made contact in another horse near the 50m, resulting in becoming badly unbalanced.

Still checked home for a sound fifth place, beaten 4 ¼ lengths and can be expected to make good improvement on that first start. Jumps from barrier 10 whish suits the 1000m dash.

Race 9 Number 1 Band Of Brothers

Drops back to Class 3 after contesting a Class 2 last start in which he raced wide mid-field in fast run mile race, returning figures of +2.8 lengths above average to the 800m and +5.5 lengths above average to the 400m. Stuck on well in the straight for a three-length beaten margin.

Will need a whole lot of luck from barrier 14, but that should ensure a decent each way price and this race appears an easier task.

Sectional Time Stars

Race 4 Number 3 Amazing Satchmo

Is not to be underestimated in this grade and had no luck as beaten favourite last start after enduring a rough run throughout; losing ground at the 1000m and then copping a nasty check near the 500m, before closing off the second fastest into fifth. Can atone.

Race 6 Number 5 Destin

Jumped from barrier 12 last start which saw him race well back in the field, contrary to where he is able to settle in the run. Showed he remains in good form by returning the fastest last 400m in the race to check home into second.
