Race 7 Number 2 Limitless

His last start eighth place was much better than it reads as inside the final 100m, when he was bidding for a run in between horses and looking likely of being in the money, he was badly checked, resulting in jockey Neil Callan having to heavily restrain the gelding.

This is a hot race he contests this week but he will be good value and should be considered in forecast/place forecast wagers.

Race 10 Number 2 Coby Boy

Last start he dropped to Class 3, where he is one win and one second from four starts, but endured a wide trip throughout at the rear of the field. He battled on fairly in the straight but given how the race was run, he couldn’t win from a rearward position anyhow.

From barrier 5 this week, he could position handier to the speed, and in an open looking race, he must not be overlooked in this class and can prove a value choice.

Race 5 Number 12 Deal Maker

Races first-up after a stable change to trainer Jimmy Ting’s yard and last start at this track and distance, he caught the eye with a fast finishing third place while posting the fastest last two furlongs (22.91 sec), which ranked best of the meeting at +7 lengths above average.

Race 6 Number 12 Righteous Doctrine

Last start he caught the eye posting the fastest last 400m of the race (22.65 sec), which ranked best of the meeting at +6 lengths above average. Importantly this week, he switches to the AWT track for the first time in Hong Kong, where he was two wins from four starts overseas.
