Shock stable change for sprint star

Bold Thruster

In a move that will come as a surprise to most, up-and-coming three-year-old BOLD THRUSTER has spectacularly changed stables after nine starts with trainer Shane Baertschiger.

The shock move comes after BOLD THRUSTER finished (on face value) a disappointing sixth place in last weekend’s Group 1 Lion City Cup, which stable mate ARAMCO went on to win over the well-fancied LIM’S CRUISER.

While it remains unclear what exactly spurred the decision, connections have decided on Michael Clements to take charge of BOLD THRUSTER’S racing career from here on in.

Meanwhile from the Clements camp, on the back of the news that DEBT COLLECTOR has been retired from Singapore, stable star COUNTOFMONTECRISTO has also been retired to the land down under where he will continue racing.

With DEBT COLLECTOR and COUNTOFMONTECRISTO now to two notable absentees from future Group races, the playing field is now evenly matched and ripe for rising stars to step up to the plate.
