Group 1 Chairman’s Sprint Prize (1200m) contender Mr Stunning has been scratched from Sunday’s race.
News broke on Friday that Mr Stunning was noted to be lame in its right front leg, with vets advising stewards the lameness remained on Saturday.
Acting on veterinary advice, stewards had no choice but to scratch the Frankie Lor-trained Mr Stunning.
Meanwhile, Australian mare Viddora has been passed fit to contest the Group 1 Sprint following a bout of lameness earlier in the week
