Race 8 Number 13 Ping Hai Treasure

Put in another solid performance when racing on pace in a fast run race last week, only to be collared late on the line but to hold for third beaten just under one-length.

This week, he transfers to the AWT for the first time in Hong Kong, which should be ideal considering his sole overseas win occurred on this surface and over this distance.

Race 4 Number 4 Takingufurther

Failed to show up at his debut run when finishing 13th and beaten 13 ¼ lengths, however the stewards’ report read he pulled up with a cut left hock which may have contributed to his poor performance.

Since then, he has trialled impressively with blinkers on at this track and distance, leading all the way in the fastest time of the morning to score by six lengths. He looks a big improver this week.

Race 5 Number 10 Deal Maker

Overlook last start when he raced wide throughout on turf and focus on his consistent form prior when he was finishing off his races in good last 400m splits on the AWT.

Race 1 Number 1 Levante

Drops to Class 5 after putting in his best run to date last start, slow to begin but getting home the second best (23.16s) to check home into third. From barrier 1 he looks to get a good run just off the speed.
