Race 8 Number 10 Young Legend

Last start, he did some early work to push up forward after jumping from barrier 14, however he over-raced once handy and was bound to be trapped three-wide, so jockey Karis Teetan elected to find the lead from the 850m.

He led them up into the 200m until he started to fade, but did well to hold on to fourth place, so this week, with better luck in running, he can be in the money based on that effort.

Race 4 Number 7 Flame Lily

Has been a victim of circumstance in recent starts and last time out was no different, enduring a far from ideal trip from a wide barrier but finishing the race off with a pass mark.

Prior to that, he was racing on pace in some races ran well above average speed, never beaten far. Under the right race shape, he can prove a big threat.

Race 8 Number 12 Better Choice

Looks ready for the 1400m second-up this week after an eye-catching run into second 28 days ago, his fastest last 400m of the race (22.10s) ranking the best of the meeting at +5.4 lengths above average, and his last 200m also best ranked of the meeting at +2.7 lengths above average.

Race 5 Number 4 Happy Alumni

Was heavily backed into favouritism last start and despite the plunge not coming off, it was still a run full of merit. Getting home the best in 22.46s ranked 20th best of the meeting at +3 lengths above average and he looks set to run another bold race.
