Singapore made history in 2008 as Formula 1®’s first night race. The floodlit Marina Bay Street Circuit and spectacular city skyline have since made it one of the championship’s most distinctive events.
02 / F1 SPRINT DEBUT
More racing. More at stake.
The Singapore Grand Prix will host an F1 Sprint for the first time in 2026. With Sprint Qualifying on Friday and the Sprint on Saturday, there’s competitive action across all three days of the race weekend.
03 / STREET-CIRCUIT CHALLENGE
No room for error
Marina Bay’s tight streets and unforgiving barriers leave little margin for mistakes. Heavy braking zones, technical sections and limited overtaking opportunities make precision and track position particularly important.
04 / HEAT OF THE NIGHT
A race of endurance
Racing after dark doesn’t mean escaping Singapore’s tropical conditions. High heat and humidity, combined with the physical demands of a street circuit, make this one of the toughest races of the season for drivers.
