Captain Eagle (FR) Finished 8th in a Handicap over course and distance on 29 December. He has not had the best of luck lately and deserves better. Style De Way (FR) A good effort to finish 3rd in a Handicap over this course and distance on 29 December. That was his first run back on the Flat and should be competitive.

Star Of Artaban Another good effort when 3rd in a Handicap over this track and trip on 12 December. Rarely far of the winners and he should be right there again. Raiden (FR) Finished 7th in a Handicap over 2100m at Pornichet on 28 December. Has had two good runs with Cristian Demuro in the irons and he will be back for this race. Johnny Jane (FR) Did well to finish 4th in a Handicap over 2500m at this track on 2 January. Has good results over this 1900m and will benefit from a 1.5kg allowance.

Twarab (FR) A 1.50-length winner of a Handicap over this course and distance on 30 December. The 3kg penalty might make this a tough race to win but has place prospects.
