Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million

Juvenile filly maidens in the opener with none of the twelve racing for the first time. We’ll take a chance on a newcomer and (9) STUNNING DOLPHIN, who came from a wide draw to finish 2^nd in her trial, well back behind a good winner. The 1200M can suit first up and Luis is at the controls. In terms of experience, (4) HAKSAN SAMMY is best. She came from well back to run 5^th on debut over this distance on November 29^th and can have come on for the run. We have to return to the debut makers for the rest. (1) WINNER’S BLUE got well back before running on pleasingly enough in her trial and that’s enough to have her in contention here. (12) RESPIRE and (3) MUSTANG YOUNG others who hinted at ability.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

Juvenile maidens with seven of the eleven racing for the first time. (9) UNJU CLEAR was 2^nd on debut over 1200M in a filly only maiden on November 22^nd, showing handy throughout. She should have come on for the run, and the experience can see her through on top here. (6) RAON THE PLUMA put in a fair effort on debut on November 15^th. She was previously 2^nd in a trial and can improve today. Of the first timers, (2) BLAZING ENGINE went through three trials, showing handy in all of them and posting decent times in two of them She draws well to be on pace and can put in a good showing first up. Fellow debut maker (8) SUPER TTANGKONG along with the once-raced (4) BEAT FRESH are the others who will be in the market.

Seoul Race 3: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(1) HANMADIMALDO is yet to win in none attempts but got promoted to this class with two runner-up finishes and since has a 4^th and two more 2^nd places at this class, beating three of these two starts back at 1400M. He likes to race on pace and can go all the way this time. (2) ACE MATCH returned from over three months out to get his maiden win over 1400M on November 9^th when leading all the way He is up in class but lightly weighted under an apprentice claim and he can measure up here. (5) NAEGILUI ACE was a winner at this class over 1300M back in August and has been knocking on the door since. She can go close. (10) SAEROUN GUY and the returning (6) AGAPANTHUS others in the placing hunt.

Seoul Race 4: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

Competitive race. (10) NAOL PASS was a winner over this distance on November 30^th, settling close to the pace and running on. She is up in class today and while she doesn’t get a weight break, she looks to have the potential for more, and she can win again. (1) DUSON EUTTEUM comes up in class too having run 2^nd in each of her latest three, including that November 30^th race. She gets a 3.5kg weight drop plus the inside gate and she may be able to overturn the form. They’ll both need to step up to beat (5) RAON ECLIPSE, who has plenty of experience at this level, most recently a very close 2^nd at this distance on November 15^th. He is up slightly in weight but will be in the finish again. (2) HANGANG FANTASTIC and (4) HEART K others to consider.

Seoul Race 5: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(4) MIGHTY BEAT has made steady progress across four starts so far, culminating in a 3^rd place on his first try over 1400M on November 22^nd when overcoming a wide draw. He is in a better gate today and he looks ready to win. (10) SMART RISE was an improved 4^th at start number two over 1200M coming from well off the pace. Third-up he can be fitter and the step up in trip may well suit. (1) YEOMYEONGUI SUNGAN has seven finishes in either 4^th or 5^th and coming back in trip really should be improving on that today in this kind of company. (7) MASTER PLAN and (9) EAN PERFECT among plenty of others who can be considered on at least a place line.

Seoul Race 6: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(9) REFLECT scored his maiden win as favourite over this distance on November 22^nd, coming from well back. He is up in class but down 3kg in weight, the wide draw won’t be a problem, and he can win again. (2) QUANTUM K got his sole win all the way back at start three but he has been working towards another and was most recently 2^nd at this class over 1400M on November 22^nd over 1400M. In this company, he can be on pace, and he could well go all the way. (6) GEOSEN DAERO was a winner on debut in July before running 4^th in the Rookie Stakes. He had a hard time in Listed juvenile company in October and then again in the G2 Breeders’ Cup Rookie, but he comes back into much shallower waters today and having won a trial just last week, he can go well here. (3) HOLY KAISER and (1) THUNDER MARVEL the other main chances.

Seoul Race 7: Class 5 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(10) BLUE SUN got his maiden win at start five at the end of August and then ran 2^nd on his first try at this class and distance on October 25^th, showing handy throughout. He comes in fresh after nine weeks out, Maia stays on, and he is favoured to go one better here. (6) THUNDER STORM is yet to win in seventeen starts but has finished between 2^nd and 5^th on no fewer than twelve occasions including his latest two at this class and distance. He likes to settle back and run on, and he should be aiming to at least place in this company. (3) LOVE SCARLET is similarly a maiden but has four runner-up finishes from eight starts. They include her latest two at this class over 1400M and 1700M and she cab go close on her first try at 1800M. (11) STEEPLE and (8) POWER JILJU others in the frame.

Seoul Race 8: Class 4 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

It took (3) HEUNGHAENG DOLPUNG seven goes to get his maiden win, but he evidently enjoyed it as he now has three from nine. He completed the hat-trick at this class and distance on November 12^th when leading throughout and while up 3kg in weight, he is well drawn to be on pace and make it four. Should he fall short, (6) KING MASTER is poised to complete a hat-trick of his own. He has won his latest two at 1200M and 1400M and while up in class and in distance, he looks to have plenty of potential for more. (11) CHEONGSAN JILJU was a winner at this class over 1700M in August and has held his form since. He has the challenge of the widest gate, but an apprentice keeps his weight down and that should bring him into contention. (10) HIGH FOLLY and (5) FASHION STAR others in the mix.

Seoul Race 9: Class 4 (1700M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(7) K POWERFUL has mixed his form of late but enters off a close 2^nd over 1800M at tis class on November 29^th when on pace throughout. He drops back to a trip at which he is a winner of two from four, and with Maia climbing on for the first time, he can return to winning ways here. (11) ROPPONGI DRAGON had a poor day at the office when favourite last time out over 1800M, using up some energy to get forward from a wide draw and then offering little. That was his second disappointing effort since returning from four months off, but he is a class and distance winner and is worth another chance in this company. (2) SMILE DAY has hinted at ability across five starts so far and may appreciate the step up in trip. (6) JACHE BALGWANG and (8) MATTERHORN K others who can go close.

Seoul Race 10: Class 3 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

(4) NAMSAN BELT is a winner of two from three most recently over a mile on November 1^st. She is up in class today but is under a light weight and from a good draw, she can win again. (11) FUNNY TAP was a winner over this distance at the end of September before running 4^th on her first try at this class on November 2^nd. She has the challenge of the widest gate today but if she can find a decent position early, then she has as good a chance as any. (9) TIARA SUA has held her form since her maiden win and has finished 3^rd on both her tries at this class, both over 1200M She tackles the extended trip for the first time today and should be there or thereabouts again. (7) LOVE COWGIRL and (3) PALO ALTO among others with at least place chances.

Seoul Race 11: Class 2 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

(7) GANGNARU comes in with four 2^nd places and a 3^rd in five starts since his latest win, with the last three of them at this distance and last two at this class, most recently beating three of these on November 29^th. He is up in weight but has a smart finish on him and should be too strong here. If he does manage to find one too quick again, it might be (6) TAEPYEONG HERO. A winner at this distance at class 3 level in June, he has two 4^th places and a 3^rd in three goes at this class and can be a danger. (3) ARGO RICH has loads of experience at this level and was a very close 2^nd over a mile last time out. He is a three-time winner over this distance and while he has his fair share of weight, he can be competitive. (8) ZETTA MASTER and (5) UMAPOY chances in a very competitive race.
