Kruyer has a situation

Wehaveasituation “谍对谍”

After a blockbuster Grade 1 weekend at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth, Wednesday’s card offers more modest fare — but still some good chances for Christmas cash.

Wehaveasituation is in peak form and looks the one to beat in Race 6 (1800m). Trainer Paddy Kruyer is striking at over 20%, and Andrew Fortune has clicked perfectly with the filly, winning over this course and trip last time by 1.5 lengths. She’s been superbly placed, rising from maiden to multiple winner this season, and despite the 61kg, the fillies’ 2.5kg allowance keeps her competitive.

Balzi Rossi, fresh off his maiden win, is the main danger as an improving type stepping up in trip. Midway continues to go close and should be in the mix again despite being unreliable at winning.

In Race 1 (1800m), Up In Flames finds a good opportunity after a luckless last run, while Hazel Green should finally break through in Race 2 (1400m) with the strongest form in the field.

Kubu (Race 3) has shown promise in two runs and should keep improving, while District Master (Race 4) is knocking hard on the door and is due a win.

Race 5 pits stablemates Panjandrum and Whirlwind against each other, with jockey bookings offering mixed signals but both holding winning claims.

In Race 7, Hampstead Heath looks ready to score after a strong third behind Grade 1-placed Reet Petite, thriving now after a quiet winter.

Commanding (Race 8) has been costly but consistent and may finally get his win in a shallow field, with Count William the main rival.

The day ends with Oncidium in Race 9, who can bounce back after a below-par last run and remains capable at this level.
