Race 3 – 4 VOYAGE BOSS
His last-start fourth carried plenty of merit. Urged early but unable to cross, he was forced to race wide on the speed, yet still battled on gamely in the straight to finish fourth.
The form has since been franked by third placegetter CALIFORNIA BLITZ, who also raced on the speed and came out to win subsequently, which augurs well for his prospects heading into this week’s assignment.
Race 7 – 10 MY WISH
Following two Group victories this season, he was well supported in a Group 2 feature last start but could only finish fourth. However, the sectional data indicates the run was far superior to the bare result, as he stuck on tenaciously off a frantic tempo.
With a more measured ride this week, he looks a genuine chance to land his first Group 1 victory in the Hong Kong Mile.

Race 4 – 10 BUNDLE AWARD
In a slowly run race last start, he was at a clear disadvantage settling off the speed from a wide draw, yet still produced the fastest final 400m (21.40 seconds) to finish fifth over 2000m. The rise to 2400m—where he has won one of two attempts—looks ideal, and he shapes as a genuine value contender.
Race 9 – 3 STAR RISE
Badly held up from the 400m to the 100m last start, he unleashed a sharp burst along the rail once seeing daylight, finishing just 1.5 lengths from the winner in fourth over 1200m. Given his racing pattern, the step up in trip should suit, making him one to watch closely this time.
