Race 3 – 1 AURIO
On his Class 4 debut in May, he was well supported in betting but refused to jump, effectively ending his chance at the start. In his next appearance — the race later declared void on 15 November due to a rare incident — he did at least show his hand, finding the line strongly.
That effort suggested he has an edge at this level, and he looks one to follow in a field that lacks depth this week.
Race 8 – 1 BOTTOMUPTOGETHER
He has been outclassed in two recent Group features, and those unplaced efforts can be forgiven as he returns to handicap company this week. His earlier form was encouraging, highlighted by a close second in Class 2 five starts ago.
The drop in class is a clear advantage, and with a well-judged ride he could prove hard to run down, even under top weight.

Race 5 – 11 BETTER AND BETTER
In a slowly run race last start, he was eased back early to settle off the speed before flashing home late to finish fifth over this track and distance — an effort that went firmly against the race shape. Having finished within 1.5 lengths in his past two runs, he looks to be edging closer to a breakthrough.
Race 10 – 3 YOUNG ACHIEVER
Despite not figuring in the placings recently, his last two runs were better than they appear. On both occasions he jumped from wide barriers yet still closed off strongly, clocking sharp final 400m sectionals. Against more fancied rivals this week, he could surprise if the tempo swings his way.
