Race 4 – 3 NOISY BOY
He has likely found 1650m a touch sharp in both runs this preparation, and the All-Weather surface may not be ideal for him given his best form has come on turf. Even so, he stuck on admirably to finish fifth and sixth, making solid late ground each time.
The step up in distance now looks a clear positive, and his previous turf performances suggest he can adopt a more forward position, which should see him prove far more competitive.
Race 9 – 5 SKY JOY
Resuming from a nine-month break last start, he used a bit of petrol from a wide draw to track the leader, yet still fought on well to finish a close second. The form has since held up, with winner PATCH OF STARS going on to score again.
With a perfect second-up record, he should improve further and rates a leading chance.

RACE 2 – 9 SUNNY Q
Despite an awkward jump that left him on the back foot early, he flashed home from the rear to finish second over 1200m last start. With his racing pattern pointing to further improvement over 1400m, the step up in trip looks ideal, and he shapes as a strong contender in a field that lacks depth.
RACE 3 – 7 VICTORY CHAMPION
He charged home for a strong second on debut three starts ago, but little went right for him in his next two outings — first when held up for clear running, and then when returning with respiratory noise. A recent trial showed him finishing off well, suggesting he is ready to make amends at his fourth attempt.
