Little Suzie can make a Perfect Impact

Trainer Justin Snaith 练马师史奈斯

Trainer Justin Snaith got the best out of Little Suzie earlier this year, picking up a Grade 2 at Greyville in May. She followed that up with a good runner-up performance over 2000m at the same course and over the same distance on 27 July. The Trippi filly returns from a break, and this is clearly a preparation run for her as she has much bigger races to tackle in the next few months.

She is, however, weighted to win Race 7, a Progress Plate over 1400m at Kenilworth on Wednesday 19 November. Jockey JP van der Merwe gets the ride, and he will look to improve on his record with her, which currently includes one well-beaten third when favourite and an unplaced run.

Although clearly at her very best over 2000m at this stage, Little Suzie has been placed over 1200m and has also won over 1600m, so the stiff 1400m at this track should not be a problem for her.

Snaith Racing are set for a good day, with In Motion in Race 4 and Greenchoice in Race 5 likely to be popular with punters. In Motion has been runner-up in his last three starts and was beaten by the decent Beware last time out. Beware followed that up with a good win last weekend, while In Motion deserves a winning turn.

Stable companion Greenchoice has been a disappointment in that he has yet to win a race, but he is consistent, and as he is not taking on strong runners, he should go close.

Trainer Dean Kannemeyer has his yard in very good form and Perfect Impact looks likely to win Race 2, a Maiden Plate over 1400m. Championship-seeking jockey Craig Zackey can do the business with him.
