Race 8 – 10 BETTER AND BETTER

In contrast to his positive racing style two starts ago, a slow getaway last time forced him to settle further back than ideal. Despite that early setback, he charged home strongly for third over this trip, showcasing his versatility in running.

With a clean break, he should be able to settle closer to the speed and looks poised to break through at his seventh attempt.

Race 10 – 2 LIGHT YEARS CHARM

At his first attempt at Group level two weeks ago, he was badly held up over the final 250m, resulting in a luckless seventh. The form has since been franked, with the winner MY WISH going on to post back-to-back victories.

Dropping back to Class 2, where he maintains an unblemished record, is a major positive, and with a clearer run this time, he should prove hard to beat.

RACE 4 – 14 BEAUTY MISSILE

Despite not drawing better than gate 10 in his past five starts, he has still produced several strong finishes, including a slashing fourth over this distance last time out. With two runs under his belt this preparation and only 115lb to carry, he could prove a genuine value chance.

RACE 9 – 3 THE BOOM BOX

His first-up run early last month was a pass mark, settling off the speed before finishing strongly for sixth over 1200m. With the step up in distance, he should be able to settle closer from an inside gate, making him one worthy of serious consideration second-up.
