The Greeff invasion begins

Trainer Alan Greeff 练马师格林福

Port Elizabeth trainer Alan Greeff launches his national assault with unbeaten filly Anotherdanceforme in Saturday’s Grade 2 Western Cape Fillies Championship (1400m) at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. The star filly, unbeaten in six starts, already boasts a Grade 2 Golden Slipper win and returned this season with an effortless victory over Augusta Rosso. With Richard Fourie aboard, she remains the one to beat despite facing strong rivals like Quickstepgal, Stormwatch, and Wish List. Stormwatch, narrowly beaten by Wish List in September, has since franked that form with a strong Diana Stakes effort behind She’s My World, suggesting she could turn the tables.

The Grade 3 Cape Mile (Race 8) sees the seasonal return of Garrix and Red Palace, but Zeitz, fitter and in form after a solid comeback behind Outlaw King, could have the edge for Andre Nel and Serino Moodley.

In the Listed Woolavington Stakes (2500m), Congressman looks well treated at the weights after a close second in the Settlers Trophy, though stablemate and former Champion Stayer Master Redoute should improve from his comeback run. Triple Time and Time For Love are also capable stayers worth noting.

The Listed Laisserfaire Stakes (1100m) is wide open, with Artiste fancied to reverse form with Festival Chic after meeting her on better weight terms.

Earlier maidens (Races 1–3) could produce surprises — watch the betting for first-timers. Objet D’Art looks the one to beat in Race 4, while in Race 9, Viva’s Liberte can extend his unbeaten streak against Note To Self. The final race (Race 10) is a strong maiden where Greenchoice is preferred over Fast Train and Super Viking.
