SILVA CITY represents his best chance in this race and she is improving, coming off a good third-place finish. SILVAN MISTRESS was not disgraced in their latest starts and is decent back-up for Greeff. EAST COAST GIRL has impressed with some easy wins on the Polytrack but she will need to show she is as good on the grass.

This improving sprinter has won 6 of his 9 starts and is at very best over this distance. Stable jockey Craig Zackey rides and they look hard to oppose. ANUSCHKA’S WORLD and stable companion ROMAN AGENT are also capable of getting involved with the finish.

SKIPPER ZIP found some market support on debut. He never showed but the experience should see him improve.

HOLDING THUMBS is at his very best over further but is in top form and should challenge for top honours. Trainer Justin Snaith has two decent runners in the form of ARDABIL and PLEASE BE TRUE. They are up in class but are talented and not out of it.

CHAMPAGNE PROBLEM has made steady recent improvement and was narrowly beaten last run. She does have the worst of the draw. PIZAZZ found some market support on debut, possibly because of Richard Fourie being aboard but she should come on from her debut run.

Serino Moodley has opted to stay aboard Spectacular ahead of THE MIKADO who finished behind Continental Express in their last two meetings in sprite of Frank Robin’s gelding being better off at the weights and carrying a hefty 63kg. KING BAVARIAN stays the trip and gets lumps of weight from the above trio which should make him competitive.
