Merits healthy respect. Ozone (FR) Winner of both career efforts, the latest of which was in a Conditional Listed over 1600m at Lyon Parilly on 9 September. Can have an impact. Aylin (IRE) Won the Group 2 Betfred May Hill Stakes over 1600m at Doncaster in the Great Britain on 11 September. She clearly has class about her and cannot be discounted.

The son of Sea The Moon has class about him and can remain unbeaten. Puerto Rico (IRE) Comes off a victory in the Group 2 Betfred Champagne Stakes over 1400m at Doncaster in Great Britain on 13 September. He is one of the leading contenders. Nighttime (FR) Winner of his last three starts, the latest of which was in the Group 3 Prix la Rochette over 1400m on this course on 11 September. Merits healthy respect. Time To Turn Won a Listed race over 1400m at Ascot in Great Britain on 25 July. The combination of Charlie Appleby and William Buick cannot be discounted.

Asfoora (AUS) Is better than latest when seventh over 1000m at the Curragh in Ireland in the Bar One Racing Flying Five on 14 September. Oisin Murphy is back in the saddle, and she may the one to side with. Frost At Dawn (USA) Finished behind ASFOORA (17) when third over 1000m at York in Great Britain in the Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes on 22 August. She is one of the leading contenders. Monteille Winner of the Group 3 Prix du Petit Couvert over 1000m on this course on 14 September. Cristian Demuro rides from an inside draw and she should give a good account of herself. Afjan (FR) Won the Group 3 Prix D’Arenberg over 1000m on this course on 31 August. The son of Mehmas takes on older rivals but he looks to have plenty of class about him and gets a good weight allowance.

Al Ghadeer (FR) Has won six times from seven starts in France. Winner of a Group 1 over 1600m at Goodwood in Great Britain on 30 July. Won this race last year and can defend his title. Hm Alchahine (FR) Winner of last four starts, the latest of which was over 2000m on this course in a Group 1 on 7 September. Merits healthy respect. Rb Kingmaker (USA) Was victorious in his last two starts, the latest of which was in a Group 1 over 2000m at Deauville on 5 August. He finished second in this race last year. Luwsail (FR) Finished behind HM ALCHAHINE (6) when second over 2000m on this course in a Group 1 on 7 September. He may have to settle for the same result.
RACE 5: QATAR PRIX DE L’ARC DE TRIOMPHE (GROUP 1) (TURF TRACK) – 2400M – TIME: 22:05 PRIZE MONEY: EUR5000000
Aventure (IRE) Top class filly, who has solid credentials. 2nd in this race last year, in top form this year. She won the Prix Vermeille (Gr.1) over track and trip on September 7th by 1.5L. Leading contender. Minnie Hauk (IRE) Class filly who has won all four runs this year, three Group 1 races, including the Epsom Oaks in June, Irish Oaks in July and the Yorkshire Oaks on her last start on August 21st by 3.5L over 2400m. Well drawn and has a live chance. Gezora (FR) Ran well to be 2nd behind AVENTURE (10) in the Prix Vermeille (Gr.1) over track and trip on September 7th last time. Prix De Diane (Gr.1) winner over 2100m in June. Can not be ruled out despite stall 13. Kalpana Placed on all four runs this year, 2nd at Kempton (Gr.3) on the all-weather track in early September, and 2nd in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes (Gr.1) at Ascot (UK) on July 26th. Can play a lead role.

January (IRE) 7th last time out in September, 2nd before that over 1600m in the Prix Rothschild (Gr.1) at Deauville on August 3rd. Key chance. Tamfana (GER) 7th last time out, 2nd previously over 1600m at Sandown (UK) in the Bet365 Mile (Gr.2) on April 25th. She has been given a break since May and has been trained for this race.

Maranoa Charlie (FR) Solid effort to be 3rd at York (UK) over 1400m in the City Of York Stakes (Gr.1) on August 23rd. Group 3 winner over track and trip on June 8th. Player. More Thunder (IRE) Two wins of late, the latter over 1400m at Newbury (UK) in the Hungerford Stakes (Gr.2) on August 16th. Hard to overlook. Sajir (IRE) Three wins from four runs this year, the latest success was over 1300m in the Prix Maurice De Gheest (Gr.1) on August 10th. Speedy and can be involved if able to see out this trip.

Omicrone (FR) Unplaced last time in August over 1200m, a win previously over this track and trip on July 13th in a Class 2 race. Hard to rule out of the top three.

O’wood (FR) Ran well to win over 2000m at Deauville on August 17th in a Class 2 handicap on the turf. Ought to be in the shake-up. Everillo (FR) 5th on his last start over 1850m at this track in a Class 1 handicap on September 14th. One to pay attention to.
