RACE 2: DE LAPALISSE MAIDEN STAKES (TURF TRACK) – 1600M – TIME: 23:27 PRIZE MONEY: EUR15600
Menakoz Finished 4th over 1800m at Clairefontaine in Conditional Maiden on 15 August. She finished 2nd on debut over this distance and may be the one to side with. Island Sunrise (IRE) Unraced daughter of Dubawi out of the Galileo mare, Hysterical. Her grandmother, Laugh Out Loud, won the Group 2 Prix de Sandrigham in 2012. Double Up (FR) Was in need of his debut when unplaced over 1600m at Chantilly in Conditional Maiden on 1 September. He did not have much luck in running that day and should have good improvement to come. Windflower (FR) Finished 6th over 2000m at Salon De Provence in Conditional Maiden on 9 June. She would have strengthened up in her time off the track and has plenty of scope.

Lollipop Des Pins (FR) Is better than her recent form suggests. Finished 9th over 2650m at Chateaubriant in Class 4 Handicap on 23 July. She tries the tongue-tie for the first time and can surprise.

Finished 2nd over 2400m at Lyon Parilly in Class 4 Handicap on 3 September. There should not be much separating him and The Room.

First run on French soil and has the scope to have a say.

Le Roi David (FR) He has performed well over obstacles. He did not disgrace himself in a Listed race during his last flat outing in November 2024. He looks hard to beat in this line-up. Follow You (FR) Finished unplaced over 1600m at Lyon Parilly in Class 3 Handicap on 9 September. He has won on the flat five times previously and may be the horse to fill the 2nd spot. Izastep (FR) Finished 8th over 1700m at Marseille Borely in Class 4 Handicap on 4 September. He comes into this contest with a nice weight and can improve. Allamano (FR) Unraced son of Reliable Man out of the Martaline mare, Zia Marta. In this type of field, it would be no surprise to see him involved at the finish.
